I would highly recommend Island Family Medical Center. I kid you not I have been suffering from a chronicle migraine since childhood and I had been to many many doctors and none of them could cure my headache but Dr. Johar worked her magic and now its been over a month haven't had a headache. she is the best on the Islands.

Dr. Maria Jauhar and all her staff have provided me with the best and most personal care that I have ever received from a medical practice. My appointments are always very timely, Dr. Jauhar always takes the time to listen to my concerns and considers both formal and alternative methods of treatment based off my preferences. The staff is always kind, understanding and very friendly. I am sad to have relocated and this no longer be my primary place of care but, will return for hormone replacement therapy. Thank you Island Family Medical Center for such wonderful service and always making me feel

I saw three doctors before going to Dr. Jauhar for a cough I had had ongoing for fifteen months. I had had a chest x-ray, seen a pulmonologist for a complete function test, saw my GP and an allergist. Had three different diagnoses. Still had my cough. Finally, found this doctor (almost in my backyard) and decided to see her. She LISTENED to me, which most doctors don't. In fact, when I discussed possible causes with my former GP, I was told I could have him or. "Dr. Google"! How's that for arrogance! Anyway, a treatment plan decided, I FINALLY said goodbye to my cough! Haven't seen Dr. Jauhar for

When I first arrived in Savannah, I came to her just for Rx needs. But when I became very ill, she was unable and/or unwilling to do her job. Always sat behind the desk using only her computer. I needed a papscreen, and I was shocked she didnt know what she was doing and had me SIT for it. I came the last time (2yrs ago) to get help with lung infection/breathing issues, once again, I was dismissed, they refused to even look at the photos I had of what was coming up front my lungs. Upon leaving, I said I was worried about even driving home. I feel so ill, a few hours later I was taken by EMS to

It’s quite unsettling to see the result of negative feedback be solely victim blaming. We don’t need an apology for how we feel, we don’t need to know that your medical protocol is “money first, patient last” and we certainly don’t need any response that continues to invalidate our negative experience. Inviting change is taking account of your actions and the people you work with - I’m talking to everyone hired in this building. Absolutely unacceptable that there isn’t a decent attitude among staff towards patients, especially during a pandemic. Do better.

I saw NP Laura. She was not very helpful in assuring me that my pains were being taken seriously. Her responses to my fear of moving to a different City were that "Atlanta Doctors were better." A week later Laura asked me to come back and spesicifally leave another urine sample for reasons that made sense, but when I did I experienced so much stress I decided not to continue. I was immediately snapped at by one of the nurses upon arrival. Completely unprofessionally. She later apologized several times for being rude after reading the notes NP Laura left of the request for me to "come and leave

It was about three years ago when I first went in to see Dr. Jauhar. I had been feeling very run down, physically and mentally, not like myself at all and was pretty concerned about what was going on. Very quickly Dr. Jauhar diagnosed my problems and got me on a therapeutic program that had me feeling better in just a few days and soon I was back to normal... maybe even better than normal! She continues to take good care of me and I can't speak highly enough of her or the friendly and professional staff at Islands Family Medical Center. Thank all of you so much!

This office was not a good fit for my son and I. Some of the staff are kind and I did not have a problem with Dr. Jauhar or her PA, rather their visit protocol. The problem I had was the need to go in for an office visit each time I need a prescription refilled or a referral. My first glimpse of this was when I was told I had to see the doc every 3 mos. to be able to refill my meds. I've never had to be seen that often for refills. Then my next experience with required visits came with my son. My son has special needs and requires a lot of specialties. He was referred to see an audiologist by Dr
