Oregon Hearing Solutions is unique in that clients are afforded the opportunity to purchase hearing aids at the same place they have their hearing tested. Unlike a doctor's office or hearing aid retailer, Oregon Hearing Solutions clinic is staffed and equipped to provide diagnostic hearing evaluations, as well as comprehensive and professional hearing aid fittings.
All Oregon Hearing Solutions clients are seen by a highly qualified audiologist and hearing instrument practitioner. We involve our clients throughout the entire process of testing and hearing aid evaluation. Clients are educated about their hearing loss and the effect it may have on their ability to communicate with others.
The first step in dealing with hearing loss is to have a complete audiological evaluation performed by one of our trained and licensed audiologists. Our test is conducted in a soundproof room. This environment allows the test to best identify the nature of the hearing problem. If this is your first visit and the results suggest a medical problem, we will immediately refer you to your physician with a copy of the complete evaluation.
Receiving a diagnostic hearing evaluation is the first step in determining the type, degree, configuration and symmetry of your hearing loss. Your evaluation includes a variety of measurements to rule out any medically treatable causes of hearing loss. The inability to remain alert to everyday environmental sounds and maintain good communication with others can cause not only embarrassment, but could also have serious consequences.
Live Speech Mapping has become the popular and successful approach to fitting today's high tech hearing instruments. LSM utilizes actual speech as the input for measuring the Aided Response in real ear measurements. Speech provides an interesting and familiar stimulus for the patient and also provides the hearing instrument with the signal it requires.

If you have Untied Health Care Hearing Insurance DO NOT use this company.
I'm new to needing hearing aids. The process of getting them from this company is extremely difficult. All of the information they have given me is incorrect. For 4 weeks they have told me they have been ordered. Yesterday, They blamed the hearing aid supplier that they made an error and didn't process it 4 weeks ago.
I spoke to Dr Scott, he told me they don't make any money on these orders so I would need to follow up with the 3rd party or my insurance company. They wouldn't help me.
Their lack of follow

Oregon Hearing Solutions is AWESOME! My hearing issues are covered under a workers' comp claim and I ran into some difficulties when trying to obtain a new pair of hearing aids. Dr. Johnson and his staff worked tirelessly and diligently to cut through the red tape and assist me in getting my new hearing aids. Prior to today we have been very pleased with Scott and his staff. Today I called requesting an urgent visit. They did not call back so I called again. Explained that we would be right in but we were coming from Newberg. We arrived at 12:04. They had already left for lunch. Very irresponsible service!

Know your benefits! Contact your Insurance Provider, (report that you are being told to sign a document allowing Balance Billing) before ordering device. By signing, you waive protection from over billing, etc. I thought I was simply agreeing to pay co-pays/deductibles. I'd never met a Provider that Balance Bills. An enormous mistake was made on benefits quoted. My insurer acknowledged the portion they misquoted, and the transcript verified that OR Hearing Solutions (OHS) ALSO misunderstood what they were told regarding maximums. So both were complicit in the error. After adjusting to my new aid

I have been a client of Dr. Johnson for almost 10 years now. I needed hearing aids at a fairly young age in order to continue performing well at my job in customer service. When it became obvious that I needed another pair, Dr. Johnson showed me how far the technology had come. At the time I purchased the new set & went in to be fitted, Dr. Johnson had been able to provide me with an"upgrade" at no additional charge. Now I am blue tooth compatible and "hands free" not only in my car, but at work as well!! Thank you Dr. Johnson.

Dr. Scott is a personable professional. His focus his helping those with hearing losses repair their ability to once again have a good quality of life. My husband has a very severe hearing loss so I recommended Dr. Scott to him as I had worked with Dr. Scott since 2011. Dr. Scott now has 2 satisfied patients. I have been seeing Dr. Scott Johnson for over 6 years. I have had nothing but great success in getting a honest evaluations and working with getting my hearing back on track so I can function again at work and home. I originally came in under duress from my wife over the TV remote, I knew I couldn't hear well especially in noisy or crowed places... often shying away from adding to conversations or taking phone calls. Dr. Johnson found the best aids and devices to use phones again, add into conversations at work and out with friends and best part my wife now needs control over the TV remote
