Pier Group Packaging provides standard and custom size injection molded containers manufactured by Orbis. These containers are generally suited for manually handled applications. A packaging system using totes often requires interior dunnage. Interior and exterior trim parts commonly use this kind of packaging system.
Pier Group Packaging offers standard and custom size structural foam containers manufactured by Arca Systems. These containers are designed for mechanically handled applications. Custom interior dunnage is often required as part of this packaging system. Examples of typical uses are for various components and interior and exterior trim parts.
Pier Group Packaging provides design and coordination activities on various programs using corrugated paper products from Packaging Corporation of America (PCA). PCA has an extensive design center located in Plymouth, Michigan and services the expendable and durable packaging needs for the automotive industry.
The integration of fabricated steel racks and baskets with vacuum formed, or injection-molded, dunnage allows us to provide dunnage designs that are more effective in controlling quality, cost and timing. Vacuum-formed packaging applications include trays for various powertrain, interior and exterior trim components.
