Barn Owl Nursery
We offer a nice selection of nearly 100 different Oregon grown lavender and culinary herb plants. Chris can provide general information about selecting, planting and caring for your herbs. We sell our own fresh and dried lavender flower bundles and buds, culinary lavender, lavender tea blends, lavender essential oils and hydrosols and lavender sachets.

We started our small, home-based retail nursery in 1982. For 40 years we have offered a variety of locally grown herb plants. About 30 years ago, we started specializing in lavender plants. We hosted our first small Lavender Days event in 1996. Now, we offer nearly 100 different cultivars of Oregon grown lavender plants along with a selection of our favorite culinary herbs.

This is a lovely lavender farm and gift shop! There’s a sweet garden path with a variety of plants and an abundance of lavender in all of its varieties. Owners are welcoming and informative. The little shop is adorable and full of lavender-inspired gifts. There’s even a tour of how they process lavender into other things like lotions or foods. Very nice experience overall.

If you love lavender and herbs this is your kind of place. The owner was so friendly and helpful. We found a few hard to find mints, bay leaf and Velarium plants. We also, picked up some stepables ground cover and thymes.

Really cute place with great employees! I didn’t realize they were only doing appointments, but they were super nice let me walk around anyways. I also bought some lavender earl grey tea which is DELICIOUS! The woman running it was really sweet and brought me all the different teas to smell and gave great explanations on all her products.

Fields are so open and beautiful, the lavender here is always fresh, bountiful and very vibrant and healthy.
So many wonderful bees everywhere and the grounds are small, quaint and lovely. The gift store and nursery have wonderful gifts and lavender items to purchase. I went home with herbs to plant, lavender bushes, and a bouquet and lotion! I also enjoyed their ice tea! Adorable and I highly recommended checking out if you are in the area. I enjoy trying two new fields a year and then going back to my favorites and this place is going on my list!!

A bit difficult to find, but after that a lovely little place! If you are in to gardening, they have many types of herb plants for sale, not just lavender. The shop has lavender infused tea and cookies for sale, and a good assortment of soaps, lotions, and potions. Nice place for adults to go for a day trip, might not be all that interesting for kids.

This is an adorable off the path nursery in between Wilsonville and Tualatin. The grounds are absolutely lovely and fairly walkable. We were impressed by the expansive herb selection, and the customer service was excellent. Our daughters loved the free cookie samples, and my wife and I both enjoyed the homemade tea.

If you need to get away from the world but don't want to travel far, this is exactly where you should go on a nice spring or summer day!

High quality herbs, reasonably priced. Their gift shop is also very fun with lots of great gifts to choose from.

Chris always has a delicious sample of tea and cookies made with an herbal ingredient.

I go there often during the summer.

I went to this hidden gem during the July 2013 lavender festival tour. They had a few vendors selling jewelry, lavender products, and yarn soap outside. They had a side tropical garden with lavender, palm trees, and a hibiscus looking flower bush. The nursery in the back had scented geraniums and other unusual plants that smelled like lemons, oranges, peppermint, and other spices. They also had several kinds of lavender for sale. Up front they were selling rosemary, thyme, and a variety of different kinds of basil, ......... If you love these plants for your garden, please do visit. The place
