Here at the practice of David A. Chin, D.D.S and Associates, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist's office as a good place.
The pediatric dentist has an extra two years of specialized training and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. The very young, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems.
For the many years, we have brought our four kids to Dr. Chin's office [and] we have experienced warm, cheerful, competent and excellent care from the entire staff. All of our children feel cared for by the staff, and very safe and comfortable with Dr. Chin. He does a wonderful job of interacting with children and showing them that he cares about what they are experiencing while he works on their teeth.
We highly recommend your child visit the dentist before his or her 1st birthday. Dr. Chin and Associates strive to make your child's first visit gratifying and positive by introducing them to the teeth cleaning and dental care in a particular and considerate manner. We have created this visit to create a warm and friendly environment that your child feels comfortable and at home in.
Treatment appointments for young children and those who require sedation will be scheduled in the morning hours. We have found treatment appointments are easier when your child, the doctor, and the staff are fresh. Recall appointments are made six months in advance, at the time of the visit, for your convenience.

This facility seemed to do pediatric dental services. Recently, we found out that the business was out of the network because I had PPO, they didn't tell me if it cost a lot, they overcharged me. I took my kids to another dentist to checkout, The kids have been going to David Chin DDS since 2018 but the business professionally did not do dental services such as the fillings right. They could have done much better work. If you continue to go to this dentist, think twice if you pay for the service that you receive. There is no zero star for Yelp review.

This office is very organized and set up in a way that makes everything easy for parents as well as children. All the doctors here are amazing as well. Our three children have been seen by all four doctors who have each been great in their own way. My kids will request each of the doctors in rotation. I guess they miss seeing each of the them haha.

We drive from Santa Clarita to see Dr. Chin and Erica. My kids have always been well taken care of with these two. I feel confident that he will never recommend unnecessary work and trust his opinion completely. Erica is the best hygienist! She's so friendly and works gentle enough for my sensitive kids. We love these guys!

Dr. Chin and Erica, dental hygienist, are outstanding. They are very kind and patient with my nervous little boy and I am so grateful. Before I met Dr. Chin for our first appointment with him, he spoke to me over the phone off-hours (on a Sunday morning!) to discuss a dental concern. My kids have been clients of Dr. Chin since about 2003. It has always been a pleasant experience. The receptionist knows who is walking in the door and easily handles any insurance concerns. Maria keeps the office flowing smoothly. Of special note is Tara, who seems to be the lead dental hygienist. One of my kids has some odd needs, yet Tara makes the entire visit pleasant for them. Is it ok to adore your dental hygienist?! This office is exceptional. I am fortunate to have been able to bring my kids to Dr. Chin's for so many years.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chin's office!! My 12 year old son had his first appointment with Dr. Chin today. His staff is amazing and sweet. The RDA, Adriana was wonderful with my son. Explained everything and went slowly. Dr. Chin was nice and has a great connection with the kiddos. We felt very taken care of and I'm glad we made the appointment!

I can only review customer care via phone call. Spoke with Hazel who was very polite and informed me that they are currently not accepting New Patients with STRAIGHT MEDICAL ( for anybody who is wondering like I was). She did ask me if I was referred by anybody before responding to me so I don't know if that makes a difference in being accepted. I was given this Dentist information in a hand out from Kaiser.

My son has been going to Dr. Chin since he has had teeth. He is now 15. The staff are all great with kids. When our son's tooth brushing habits weren't great, they encouraged him to improve them in a positive… manner.
We found our orthodontist through them. The two offices have coordinated treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Chin's office.

Best pediatric dentist in Glendale area. When our kid was a baby, we used to go see him from Atwater Village. After we moved to Culver City for a few years, we have moved back to area and have been back to his office. Always professional and kind. His team is always pleasant and professionals as well! I would highly recommend this group of pediatric dentists to anyone. They have a clean, comfortable child centered waiting room with a movie playing or plenty of toys. Everyone that works at the office has a wonderful and calm demeanor, which is huge. The entire office has this wonderful zen feel. There are plenty of books to help show the kids what will be happening when the dentist looks at their teeth.
