As an Integrative Culinary Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I help clients reconnect with, and have a healthy relationship with food. I offer real solutions in a collaborative, client centered approach; not cookie cutter "meal plans" or one size fits all programs that don't suit your lifestyle. Learn to use food as medicine to achieve optimal health.

Whether you are looking to lose weight, manage chronic conditions such as IBS, and other diseases of inflammation, food is the most important cornerstone, and first line of defense. Based in Morristown New Jersey, serving Manhattan, and boroughs of NYC, and available by telehealth for busy people. The information, guidance and direction Tina has provided, made us more knowledgeable about food and how it impacts our bodies.
Services
Some states have no laws to say who can call themselves a nutritionist or a personal trainer. With food as medicine becoming mainstream, anyone and everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon touting the latest miracle diet or exercise plan, even though many hold absolutely no credentials and no formal education at all.
If you prefer this type of support, a group weight management program series is available to be executed at your workplace or your home with friends and family. For details on this or other topics you see here, please contact me. Half of our food budget is spent on meals prepared outside of the home, and much of our shopping baskets consist of processed and sugary foods and beverages.
Did you know that 50% of people that lead a healthy lifestyle and take a multivitamin are deficient in micronutrients? We are all biochemically, genetically, and metabolically unique, and so are our nutrient needs. Some conditions, such as IBS, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, and diabetes affect how efficiently we absorb many nutrients, and create a higher demand for the body to function properly.
Everyone needs a certain amount of energy for the body to carry out its' daily functions. Your body continually burns calories to circulate blood, maintain lean body tissue, support brain function, and much more. The number of calories to perform these functions is called your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), and can vary greatly from person to person.
Discover the difference of working with a fully Licensed Registered Dietitian specializing in Integrative and Functional Medicine. Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy encompasses lifestyle, diet, health and metabolic system imbalances, and clinical biomarkers to address client concerns as a whole.

Tina helped me to lose weight, reverse high blood sugar, cholesterol, and inflammatory markers through realistic lifestyle change that I felt I could maintain. I was also able to discontinue my cholesterol medicine.
She performed a resting metabolic rate test so I could see how many calories my body was burning, and also prescribed micronutrient testing so we could use targeted supplements as an adjunct to help me reach my goals.
The prescribed strength training program has really helped me to build muscle, and favorably change my body composition. My doctors are very happy with the results,

As a physical therapist, I know that to feel your best having a good diet is key. Even more important is having the right plan with the right foods, which may not be the same for everyone. Most people believe they know what to do when it comes to eating right, but I can tell you respectfully, you don’t know what you don’t know. That is why to feel and perform your best, one of the most helpful and healthful things you can do for yourself is work with Tina. As a Registered Dietician, Tina brings such a wealth of knowledge and experience versus some self proclaimed dieticians. Tina is always

I don't know how I can ever thank Tina enough for how positively she has impacted my life. I have known and worked with Tina for the past 21 years, so it will be difficult to keep this review short, believe me, but I will try my best!
I first engaged Tina as my physical strength and weight trainer. Her exercise training sessions are amazing in many respects. First, she has kept me in very good shape through her expertise, encouragement, and unending enthusiasm. As a musician I am very protective of my hands and wrists. Tina is always sensitive to this and modifies any exercise that might unduly

Our blood test results were headed in the wrong direction. We sought Tina out through the Chambers Center for Well Being where she holds monthly Healthy Cooking Classes - which, by the way, are excellent. Meetings with Tina, focused on developing individualized anti-inflammatory diet plans. We were very impressive on how she explains the interaction of food and its nutrients with the human body and how it can cause different results. She teaches the benefits of healthy eating in a clear and understandable way. The plans provided are easy to follow and the food enjoyable - both of us have lost significant
