Zia's opened in June of 2000 and quickly became a local favorite for our generous pasta dishes, home-style Italian meats, chicken, fish, and large pizzas. Located at The Docks, it also made it easy for delivering great Italian food to boats as they made a quick stop along the Maumee River.
Zia's has a fun and festive atmosphere, featuring a stone water fountain in the main dining room and a side room decorated to feel like a cozy, personal library.Aged garlic strands, Chianti bottles and twinkling lights hang from the ceiling, and even a clothes line strung up in the great window, are all designed to provide the sensation of being transported to a small family village in Italy.

We just had a great dinner experience at Zia's. We were greeted promptly and seated right away by a very friendly host. Then our waitress showed up and greeted us with such a friendly attitude, and told us about the specials and got our drinks and an appetizer. Everything from the fresh bread, to the side salads, and our entrees were prepared perfectly. My wife got the lasagna, and I got the Rigatoni Strascicati. Both were excellent choices and tasted fabulous. We got a couple of Italian Margarita's and they tasted fantastic! I definitely give them 5 stars, and we can't wait to come back again

We go into the restaurant to eat dinner. Instead of being seated the hostess chose to ignore us and kept saying it would be a while to get a table because they had been so busy.
While waiting I had to use the restroom in going there noticed the dining room was over half empty tables cleaned and reset for the next diner and the wait staff were standing around talking. They have good food here but to be treated like garbage because I wasn't dressed in business clothes is ridiculous

I was wrong! I'll admit I was not excited when this was the place my group decided to go, I figured I could get Italian at Olive garden lol!
So I decided to go non-traditional and get fish, and let me tell you the salmon dish was the best salmon I've had in a long long time! Our server even added capers I requested, and it was literally melt in your mouth, so much so that it almost made me forget about the homemade cheese ravioli!

Used to be my favorite until yesterday could care less you closed your doors for good. Never have been so poorly treated by a hostess in my life including at sub par restaurants ..heck gotten better treatment at 3am at an waffle House. BTW perhaps you should inform your hostesses that because their in a dress doesn't make them superior to those in… clean casual attire. You know some actually wear such cloths because their fighting deadly diseases that make formal attire to darn miserable physically to wear with the added excessive pain they already fight. You do know that right? If not perhaps

Went to Zia's for the first time in about 2 years to celebrate my birthday with my husband. They have plenty of outdoor dining set up but it had just poured so the patio was still very wet. We were then seated in the inside dining area. Tables are well spaced out for social distancing. Our server Bernardo was prompt and professional. Appetizer, house salads, and entrees were delicious and well presented. We enjoyed our evening out.

Had an anniversary dinner here with family. Unfortunately it was raining and we couldn’t sit on the great patio on the river.
Our waitress was awesome. We got a couple of seafood pasta specials, ravioli, Chicken Marsala, shrimp scampi and pesto pasta. Everyone gave good to great reviews of their meals.
We will return again. Hopefully on the patio!
