In 1965 Nicholas DeCristofaro Sr. founded the company with the hopes of one day passing down the company for generations to come. With his son in law Ralph Fleming Jr. and son Nicholas DeCristofaro Jr. joining, the company continued to grow throughout the '70s and '80s.

After my Mom passed away I had a pearl put in her engagement ring because the original diamond had fallen out and was lost and I thought it would be a nice memento to be able to wear her ring. The pearl that the previous jeweller put into the ring was too
large and was in a prong setting that I didn't like. Mike and Kara sourced the perfect sized half-round pearl for the bezel setting that I wanted. I just picked it up today and it is absolutely beautiful! They kept the vintage look of my Mom's ring while completely changing the setting. Thank you so much, this ring means so much to me 🙂

Karlise jewelers should be the gold standard when it comes to looking for an engagement ring. It was a pleasure working with Mike - from him taking the time to explain anything I had questions about, to sourcing a diamond and picking out a setting. Karlise jewelers recently repaired my engagement ring/wedding set and they were wonderful. Their prices are fair and their work is top notch and done in a timely fashion. I’ve experienced some other jewelers being very shady in the Burlington area, and Karlise immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable knowing I wasn’t being ripped off. Highly recommend!

Karlise is the best jewelry shop in Burlington. It’s the definition of a family owned mom and pop shop. I had so so many questions about buying an engagement ring and Mike and Kara were able to give me hours of their time to answer all of my questions. If it were possible to give this place 10 stars I would. I have been to every establishment in Burlington with my job including every jewelry store and Karlise is hands down the absolute best. It never even crossed my mind to go to another jewelry store when the time came for me to purchase an engagement ring. When I told Mike and Kara I was in the market the were so excited for me and sourced a bunch of diamonds for me to look at. They made the process of picking everything out exciting and fun. We bought my engagement ring at Karlise, and had such a positive experience that we traveled back (from NYC) to buy our wedding bands. Through both visits, Mike and his staff were amazing to work with. When I told him I was coming back, he special ordered the matching band to my ring so I could see it, and when I was there he re-sized and cleaned my ring (twice!) without charging me for it. I honestly can't say enough positive things about them. Even 6.5 hours away, they're now our go-to jeweler.

I've had a rough couple of weeks when it comes to jewelers, but this place has given me incredible hope! 2 weeks ago my high school sweet heart proposed to me with a beautiful engagement ring he found online (a site called pompeii3).
A week after he proposed, and I had finally come back to earth enough to notice it was a little big, i took it to Karlise to get an estimate on sizing it down. Mike, the jeweler and owner, warned me that sizing down the ring would be incredibly difficult since the prongs holding the diamonds into the band were all forms of messed up, and would likely fall out
