Eleanor McFarland Troutman was the fifth generation. Her and her husband, Gayle, owned and operated the funeral home until 1996. Gayle served as county coroner and Mt. Washington Fire Chief for many years. He currently serves the community as a city councilman and board member for Salt River Rural Electric.
