The Wig Outlet in Hartsdale, NY is a special place for women and children. We have all styles of wigs, including human and synthetic hair. We also carry human and synthetic hair extensions, as well, as turbans, jewelry and other gift items. The women at our shop are compassionate and understanding of the caring needs of all women.

Great customer service - starting from the first phone call to find out if this is what I'm looking for and making an appointment to being inside to select wigs and purchase. I brought my mom here and it was fantastic! The place is clean and has great protocols for keeping customers safe. Erica was compassionate, knowledgeable, she's a great communicator and a very nice personality. Highly recommend!

Erica is truly a pleasure to work with! She made us feel so comfortable from the minute we walked into the shop. She was welcoming and spent a ton of time with us as I must have tried on at least a dozen wigs. She was personable, kind and compassionate the entire time and she provided a ton of information in response to our questions. She was honest and not at all pushy to purchase a certain type of wig simply for the price. She also showed respect and allowed me and my mom private time to discuss our thoughts. I am glad we came to this shop and I recommend it 100% to anyone!

My husband and I walked in to buy a wig for me because I am losing my hair due to radiation on my brain. One of the ladies spoke to us for a couple of minutes and told us about 2 different wigs. Then she walked away and started helping another customer. We waited about 25 minutes and the lady never came back. So sad and disappointing. My husband and I left and no one said anything to us as we walked out. Terrible service and I will make sure to share this with everyone I know.

I wish there were a choice for 1000 Stars! My mom has been losing her hair due to stress caused by the loss of my father and my aunt (mom's sister) to COVID within 50 hours of each other. She finally reached the point where a wig became necessary and made an appointment with The Wig Outlet. Erica could not have made the experience any better. She was compassionate, personable, very knowledgable and sweet as can be. What I expected to be a downer of a morning ended up being truly a wonderful experience. The Wig Outlet has been extremely helpful. Wig shopping was a very emotional thing for me, but the entire staff was very kind and patient with me. I had even ordered one piece and went home regretting it, but when I called they were understanding and invited me back to find my perfect piece. They let me try on several styles and took the extra time to teach me how to care for my wig.
To anyone considering getting a wig or helper hair, I HIGHLY recommend The Wig Outlet. I will be going back, for sure.

The customer service is beyond amazing! The majority of the customers here are going through chemo just as is my BFF. The amount of time and care that was given to us I am so grateful for. The quality of the products here are top notch and we cannot be more satisfied! The owner Erica was so helpful with her pointers especially since going through chemo and hair loss and what to expect is very scary. If you are in need of a wig male or female this is the only place to go!!

Came with my girlfriend, who was looking for a wig to replace her old wig. We watched ERICA give excellent service to the woman ahead of us and that gave us confidence. My girlfriend wanted to replace a wig of 5 - 7 years and ERICA helped her look even better than the wig she was wearing when came in. Loved that we weren't rushed. Recently my aunt was in need of a wig and when I spoke with my friend she immediately mentioned that they have beautiful wigs where she gets her clip in extensions. The team was extremely helpful and supportive from the time I called to make the appointment. I went in a few weeks with a loved one who is going thru chemo. When I made the appt, I told the woman who answered the phone this was the first experience shopping for wigs, we didn't know anything, she said no problem, come in and I'll explain everything. When we arrived, the same woman greeted us, she wasn't the owner, Erica, whom everyone says is great. Erica was there, it's a tiny store so she heard and saw everything and should've stepped in. Choosing a wig to wear after losing your hair from chemotherapy is a daunting experience, but Erica & Tiffany were so kind, patient and thorough that the experience went from daunting to pleasant and even fun. Their selection is huge and Erica was so patient while I tried on all the styles that caught my eye. It took me a few visits to decide which wig to buy, and I never felt pressured to purchase anything before I was ready to make the decision.

The wig outlet was my first stop on my wig finding journey for hair loss from chemotherapy and I am so glad I went here first. Erica was so patient, helpful and kind, explaining all of my options and showing me every wig that fit the description of what I was looking for. I ended up going to another shop right after this one because of insurance coverage issues, and my experience at the 2nd place was not nearly as pleasant. I will be going back to Erica for all of my prosthetic hair needs from now on - I can't recommend this shop enough!!

I am going though hair loss from a surgery and visited the wig outlet from a quick search online while driving around. The owner let me come in right away without an appointment to meet me and discuss my options. She was caring, thoughtful and very professional. I had to go 3 times but I'm glad I did, she wanted to match my existing color and style so I would be extremely pleased and I was. I went to a large family gathering on Thanksgiving the day after I received my hair piece and no one noticed. I looked like I had a beautiful healthy head of hair. The owner, Erica, took the time out to come to my school (Newburgh Free Academy) and helped us give someone a wig. She even put her money out so we could fundraise to purchase the wig. She came and taught us about her busines. She was very professional. Ms.Erica was caring honest helpful. My experience here was amazing. The women who work here go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. I am getting married in October and I need a certain kind of hair extension piece for my wedding. Not knowing ANYTHING about extensions,I walked in to see if anyone there would be able to help me get what I needed. A few days ago, I went in to have a human hair wig that I had bought online styled and, I DID NOT received great service, at all. The younger woman seating at the front desk was very BLUNT and asked me, as soon as I came in, what did I NEED. Not a hello or a how are you. Their prices do seem to be outrageous, for what they sell. I can imagine that the human hair wig that I had bought online, would have cost MORE DOLLARS in that store.

Wonderful selection of everything from the chicest style to crazy silly...& everything in between. But the service is the greatest! Terry took wonderful care of me and spent all the time I wanted/needed. I have lost my hair due to chemo and she was so kind and understanding of my situation. She checked color swatches and gave great advice, too. Why would you go anywhere else?! Cannot recommend this place enough!!

My grandmother asked if I'd come with her to the wig outlet which is close to her house. Her hair was getting thinner and thinner so she felt it was time she try and see if a nice wig would do the trick. We were both pleasantly surprised with how much it did. The Wig Outlet had a vast variety if styles and colors for her to go through which made it actually a really fun time to see which we liked the best. We got to work with Erica the owner who was truly incredible and made my grandmother feel so comfortable and happy with her new look. It really did the trick and have her that confidence
