ROUTINE DENTAL CLEANINGS Maintaining good oral hygiene is important for your overall health as well as being able to eat and speak properly. There is overwhelming evidence linking gum disease with certain medical conditions such as diabetes. The hygiene department at the office of Dr. Sylvia Martinez is very experienced and well trained to help you improve and maintain good oral health.
In order to provide the best service to our patients, our office uses state-of-the-art technology. This allows us to treat dental cases with extreme precision and detect dental concerns at early stages. We are so concerned about our patient's well being and comfort that we were one of the first dental offices in San Antonio to have a portable xray machine.
As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly file your dental insurance claims. To provide faster insurance response, we have the computer capability to submit claims electronically to most insurance carriers. We will accept payment directly from your insurance company to minimize your out-of-pocket expense.

She was rude obnoxious and very very not professional. she's a coconut you know one of those want to be white but she's Hispanic and think she's above all and treats her patients like you're beneath me I was very insulted I was treated rudely and I was referred to someone else that does the same work she does it's sad that I went to somebody and wasted our insurance money but when my E.O.B.' s come out I intend to write to the insurance office and let them know exactly what and how she was and hopefully stop payment because that was a waste of my time waste insurance money and I don't agree with

I am so grateful to have been referred to Sylvia and Martinez dentist by a friend. The staff, from the experienced, kind, and personable hygienist, dental assistant and knowledgeable desk expert, are gems. Dr. Martinez is unlike any dentist I have been cared by. She is extremely personable, caring and kind, and outstanding in her dentistry expertise. She has the latest equipment in her office, and show's you on the screen the teeth that need work and why. Dr. MartÃnez and her staff were amazing. The new patient registration process was straight forward and easy to complete. The dental exams, cleaning, and discussions about my current dental needs were insightful and encouraging. If I wasn’t moving to Dallas soon, I would have all my family member visit Dr. MartÃnez for their dental needs.

Amazing group of professionals, from the moment you walk in, total attention to your needs, continuous monitoring for comfort, and the best total care I've ever experienced. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. You don't have to guess what they are doing because they tell you step by step. I use to avoid the dentist because of the pain and discomfort. Not any more, I've had 2 crowns and fillings and have yet to experience pain.

Dr. Martinez and her staff from receptionist to assistant are amazing. They are genuinely sweet and care about their patients. I had not been in the office for over 5 years and they treated me as if it were just yesterday that I had been there. My treatment required a specialist to extract two teeth and dr. Martinez thoroughly explained why and patiently helped me decide which specialist to see. I was also given a treatment plan that I will begin next week. I knew I needed some scaling , cleaning and cavities filled but Instead of making me feel guilty for not seeing her in 5 years, Dr. Martinez

I've lived in San Antonio, Cleveland, and Reno and had 5 or more different dentists in my 23 years. Dr. Martinez's office is by far the most thorough cleaning and consultation. They really take the time to inspect your x-rays for preventative maintenance, instead of reacting once you already have a cavity. I've been spoiled at their office and haven't been able to find anywhere that compares in the 2 years since I've moved from San Antonio.

Dr. Martinez and her entire staff are first rate. Dr M is skilled and efficient. She takes time with you to ensure your teeth are as healthy as she can make them, and she has up to date technology to assist her. Her hygienist is outstanding as is her assistant. And the receptionist/office manager is friendly and does not overbook. I highly recommend Dr. Martinez and her entire team. Top of the heap!

The office staff is extremely welcoming and quick to assist everyone. Dr. Martinez takes the time to visit with each patient and is thorough in her examination. She and her staff make sure that they have answered any questions you may have before you leave. Always walk out with a huge smile because I know that my teeth and health are their number one concern.
