Dr. Paes attended Stony Brook University for his undergraduate studies, where he received his Bachelors degree in Biology. He then went on to attend the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with Honors. He completed his General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Northport, NY.

Do NOT use Town Center Dental!!!!
My son went for tooth extractions for baby teeth to be pulled before orthodontist work could be performed and they couldn't determine which teeth to pull. The orthodontist had sent x-rays and explicit instructions. The teeth are all visible, as my son is 10, and their oral surgeon could not determine what teeth to pull. She was looking for the wiggling ones!!! She advised us to find a new doctor and said she was unsure of what she was doing!!! We left and will never go back again. They also do not keep any appointments they give you. They cancel them regularly

This office cancelled two appointments (one for me and one for my wife) and then didn't offer a new appointment until 5 months later. The reason they gave is that they no longer are scheduling appointments for Fridays, so I guess that means they just cancel everybody who had one previously scheduled. Overall they are not very reliable or helpful.

The dentist was great and very skilled! But I am disappointed that your business is making the choice to enforce nonsensical and tyrannical recommendations made by the CDC. The CDC does not require masks. They recommend or suggest it. Blanket medical mandates have no place in a free society.

Wow! This place was just as amazing as the reviews I read before going there said. I was a new patient and the receptionist was extremely helpful with every question I had. She was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The hygienist was the same, perfectly gentle and made sure I was comfortable. The dentist was also very professional and respectful. They all worked perfectly to make me feel I was in good hands.

I had an excellent first visit at Town Dental Center. The receptionist were friendly and polite while Cleopatra made me feel comfortable regarding the visit and next steps. Dr. Paes was excellent ... he explained my 3 options for teeth replacements along with providing the estimated cost. Great visit

Extremely professional and friendly people! My boyfriend does not have dental insurance and it was very reasonable for a tooth extraction. We were able to get an appt quickly and the appt was in an out very quick and easy. Very pleased with this place and will probably even switch to them as my primary dentist! Highly recommend!

Had the best cleaning I've ever had with hygienist Mary Ellen earlier this year. The office was nice and the experience with everyone aside from the front desk was great. We are in a very challenging time right now which is why when I called I patiently waited 15 minutes on hold. I was given an attitude when I let them know- hours in advance- that I was unable to make my appt. I was told "you know we're going to charge you $100". I said why would you do that? I'm not a no show, I'm letting you know and I'm trying to reschedule." Put on hold-their favorite

I am not someone who is afraid to go to the dentist. I am not afraid because I will ONLY go to a dentist that makes me feel comfortable. Town Center Dental makes me feel comfortable and at ease.
I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley and had to find a new dentist. I went elsewhere for a cleaning (which was fine) but then I had some intense tooth pain. I went to two different dentists and they both wanted to remove two teeth. I was like waaaaait.... what???
I just remember an old dentist saying, "A tooth in the mouth is better than two in the hand."
Save the tooth if you can. Why

The ONLY Dental office to go too!!!
This place is very pleasant, clean & welcoming. They provide you free chapstick, which I always need especially after dental work. They are very accommodating to my work and travel hours. I work in the city and need late appts.
Today, I got an extra bonus! Dr Aleena called me an hour before my scheduled appt. to ask me if I'd like to get my cleaning before my cavity & crown appt. This saves me from having to rush on another day after work. I accepted since I was 1min. away. She was wonderful, easiest cleaning I've ever had. Minimal discomfort

Town Center Dental is like no other dentist office I've been to. Dr. Paes is an excellent dentist and always takes the time to explain what procedure needs to be done and why. I tend to ask a lot of questions and never feel rushed. His staff are always pleasant and friendly. I have never been a fan of the dentist office but I have to say Town Center Dental has definitely changed my view. In case of emergencies, they do their best to get you seen right away.

After looking around for a dentist with positive reviews to take the task of becoming my primary spot after years of having no dentist, I've made my decision to come here. They were able to give me my first appointment for the next business day which was very convenient (Called on a Friday - Appointment was on Monday).
The doctors were very clear and respectful based on the situation I was/am and outlined every step that I needed to take in order to get my teeth where I wanted to be. That being said, I have a operation coming up with this practice and I have no worries being having it done

We just had the worst experience with this office and haven't even lived in NY for almost a year and a half! Last time my husband was there in June 2015 they charged us an exorbitant amount of money for all the "work" he needed. Mind you we had pretty good dental insurance. After that experience we chose to go elsewhere and eventually moved. In October of 2015 they called us while attending a family wedding in Florida to say he'd missed an appointment?! My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Paes for 3 years now. We've both had major work done as well as routine cleanings. It took me years to get back into a dentist office because of some bad experiences as a child. Had to see Dr. Paes because I was in pain and since we had recently moved here in 2013 I needed to find a new dentist. I really lucked out by finding this place. I had an amazing experience with the hygienist, Mary Ellen. I have a severe phobia of the dentist that has kept me from going for far too long. I was clear about that at the start of my appointment and she took the time to reassure me, not lecture me. This review is solely based on my experience with Mary Ellen and the staff as I have not yet seen the dentist. The hygienist not only cleaned my teeth really well and reviewed proper home care to me but she also took measurements of my gums to compare to at future appointments. Dr Paes didn't just look at my teeth but also did a cancer check on the gums and skin in my mouth.
Since I had broken two teeth Dr Paes made two crowns for me over two visits. He put on temporary crowns to protect both teeth between visits. He was always concerned about my comfort while

Going to any dentist raises my anxiety. Having to find a new dentist after my move from California to New York was something I didn't look forward to. I went to Dr. Paes and Town Center Dental of Lagrange based on a very high endorsement from my son-in-law and I am glad I did. It now appears Town Center Dental of Lagrange certainly does NOT care about HIPPA rules and regulations and does NOT care to protect patient confidentiality!! How DARE they discuss my dental information and insurance info on the internet ! I just sent a complaint with the BBB! Not to mention the 25 minute phone call this Dr Paes called me regarding my review. He is so bothered by my feelings and comments he had to all me at 7:45pm to discuss my review and beg me take it down. My honesty and opinion is just that, my opinion! I don't see him commenting on any other reviews, good or bad.
