Invisalign is another option for those who are seeking orthodontic care. For many, the primary concern for their smile is the appearance of their teeth. With Invisalign, patients can now receive orthodontic care with clear aligning trays that will improve the appearance of teeth without having to place metal braces.
Tooth Whitening is a popular procedure done to brighten your smile. First, speak with your dentist to see if whitening is a good option for you. Depending on the type of discoloration that is present on your teeth, whitening may or may not be effective. Common reasons for teeth discoloration result from using tobacco, staining from food or drinks and poor oral hygiene.
In certain circumstances your dental treatment may require a multidisciplinary approach. You may be referred to a specialist such as an endodontist, periodontist, orthodontist or oral surgeon to complete your care. A consultation appointment is usually necessary, and Dr. Ferrer and his team will help you arrange the first visit to the specific specialist.
Whitening toothpastes will reverse the effects of some surface stains, but not change the shade of the teeth themselves. The change is usually minimal. Your gums bleed as a result of inflammation caused by the presence of bacteria in your mouth. This bacteria when not properly cleaned off your teeth will result in an irritation of the gum tissue.

Unbelievably kind and caring from the front desk to dental assistant to the doctor. After having a traumatic experience at a previous dentist I have been terrified to take care of a problem tooth. After waking up to sever swelling I called dutchess dental was fit in instantly. The doctor listen to all my concerns walked me through best options and started me on antibiotics and gave me a referral to oral surgeon due to my extreme anxiety over the last dentist so I could be sedated for extraction. The next day things got worse and I could not get an appointment with a oral surgeon for another month

This is the best dental practice that I have ever been to. Every person who works there is caring and goes out of their way to be helpful to their patients. Highly professional and knowledgeable, genuinely caring and friendly staff and dentist, 21st century dentistry. Very reasonable co-pay with dental insurance. Great selections of coffee in waiting room, though I've never gotten through a full cup because there's almost no wait time; a 10am appointment actually is a 10am appointment! Just don't be in a rush to have to leave to do something else in 45 minutes; the entire staff is meticulous and works appropriately slowly for the sake of quality over quantity.

Dr. Ferrer, Christine and all of the staff has made me want to take care of my advanced dental needs. I fear needles, drills and all of those things, but have so much fun (yes, usually dentist and fun do not go in the same sentence...they do here) I very much want to go back!! Wow! The front office staff and hygienists are fantastic! Friendly, funny, accommodating... As new patients, I received a text message reminding me that I hadn't scheduled our (family of 4) regular cleanings. My kids were in the next day, and I was in the day after that. The staff dealt with insurance and went out of their way to make things easy for us. The office is lovely, the hygienists were dear to my kids, and the dentist was very low key and non-interventionist. Super happy smiles here.
