While her practice may be new to Hopewell Junction, Dr. Kristen herself has deep roots in the community. She grew up in Fishkill, taking an interest in dentistry early on as the daughter of prominent local periodontist, Dr. Mario Vilardi. Dr. Kristen attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, where she excelled in both academics and athletics.

Dr. Kristen is AMAZING with young children! She was engaging, motivating and extremely gentle with my 3 yr old twins. She used my children’s motivators to make them feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. Dr. Kristen and her staff showed and explained what instruments they were going to use for predictability purposes.
At the end, while my twins were fishing through her toy box (prefect way to keep children distracted while talking to parents), she took the time to answer ALL of my questions and concerns.
I will definitely be returning in 6 months and I may even switch dentists for myself!

To sum things up, my insurance company recommended I file a fraud complaint. My actual visit was fine however I have been struggling for over a year to get a correct bill for my visit. Everyone I have spoken to has been very nice and the mistake has been acknowledged yet, I keep getting false promises of a corrected bill and a phone call back. Even my insurance company has been calling the office because they were the ones who alerted me the current bill is not correct and I am being overcharged. It has been over a year since my visit and I just want to get things sorted out and to pay my bill

Dr. Kristen Vilardi and her assistant Michelle helped me on Christmas Evening morning. I googled anything that could help me with a broken front tooth the night and morning before, because my front tooth was broken very badly. Who was I going to find on a Christmas weekend?? To my surprise after leaving a message at 7 o'clock am, Dr Kristen called within the hour and said "I can help you. I just have to call my assistant. Can you meet me at the office at 9:15 am."
