The year was 1998. William "Bill" KEITH had already founded two engineering/surveying firms in the past, after a brief retirement, he launched the firm we know today - KEITH. His idea was simple, be a "boutique" firm offering civil engineering and surveying services with a personal approach, getting to know each client individually.
While specialization is important to foster skills, techniques and experience; we encourage our practitioners to share information and learn from each other. The results? Our practitioners are well rounded, have a better understanding of the strengths of their peers and regularly tap into each others abilities when it best serves our client's needs.
KEITH has placed a strong emphasis on quality surveying and mapping practices and procedures. The expertise of our staff is evident by our combined 90 years of experience of practical knowledge in all facets of the geospatial industry, spatial analysis, land survey, information management, laser scanning, 3D modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Planning and Landscape Architecture aims to do more than to produce places for safe, healthful, and pleasant use; it has become a platform for the realization of both private and public attitudes toward the environment. This intersection of personal and collective experiences of environment addresses the material and cultural aspects of a place while allowing exploration of future aspirations.
The greatest failure, to use a well-worn expression, is the failure to plan. That's where experience shows. KEITH performs a thorough investigation, identifies issues and forms the necessary remediation steps to ensure the project is planned, scheduled and completed on time and within budget.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. The key is to remember not to get attached to them. At KEITH, they come and go as quickly as the tide on our lovely South Floridian shore. Only the toadies of the family that owns the business tend to last a little longer. We’re really looking forward to a particular maternity leave. Something has GOT to get better in 2020 so we think that the universe will right itself by turning it into a permanent leave. One can only hope that becoming a stay-at-home parent will have more pull than ordering lunches for meetings.
