Nursing level of care is significantly below the standard of expected level of care! I don't know how they go home and sleep at night! I watched my father screaming in pain during a family facetime chat. I had to insist that they contact the doctor and get an order for a urinalysis. When I called the next day to check on my father, I was told nursing had NOT collected the specimen. I asked for another facetime call with my father only to find him still screaming and crying in pain. When insisting that my father be taken to the ER, I was threatened with he will be leaving against medical advice

I realize that all nursing homes have their issues. The beautiful decor or cost of the place does not necessarily mean it is better. It is the heart of the people working there that make or break them.
My husband has been here at Friendship Haven for about 4 months now. I won't lie I have had some issues but I will say that we seem to be working them out by discussing the issues and I do appreciate their willingness to work with us to make my husbands stay better.
I truly appreciate the special members of the staff that seem to always be helpful like nurses Lori, Carrie and Lois as well as
