Treemont Health Care Center
Treemont is Houston's "Retirement Tradition, " providing the best care and value in senior living & assisted living in Houston. Simply put, Treemont is the best value in retirement community and assisted living in Houston. When you are ready to transition to senior living, come home to Treemont. Can you afford senior living, starting at less than $59/day?

Come home to beautiful green lawns, trees and flowers. Sit with us in the garden, visit on the patio, and enjoy this beautiful oasis in the safe West Chase neighborhood of West Houston. Our architectural detail and well-kept commons gives Treemont the feel of a private estate; a feeling that has perpetuated our success since 1975.
Services
Treemont Retirement Community was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Houston and is proud to have now served multiple generations of satisfied family members. Treemont has a non-discriminatory policy based on race, creed and color. The retirement home in Houston, TX is family-owned and operated which affords direct involvement by the owners with the daily operation of community for the benefit of its residents.
As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) campus, we are able to provide a wide range of services to meet the current needs of our Houston assisted living residents. At any point our residents can move within these retirement home services to cater to their progressing needs of care or independence.
For almost 50 years Treemont Retirement Community has served our community. We believe that a great way to do that is to serve and empower our staff. Many of our team members have been with us for decades - up to forty years even!

These caring individuals are how we provide an "exceptional" experience for the seniors in our community, and they are the core reason why Treemont consistently ranks at the top for senior living communities in Greater Houston.
However, moving into senior living is the best next step to stay safe, engaged and healthy as you age. Have you fallen or has your loved one had a medical emergency at home? Alone? Medical close calls happen more often as we get older. If we live alone or with an aging spouse, we may not have a way to get help quickly and easily.
92% of Treemont Residents Never Even Considered Moving to a Retirement Community, Until they Learned This. Even as Marilyn and Bob got older, they never considered moving into a retirement home for many reasons. But as their health continued to decline, they realized a senior community was a good option.

I was here 4 years ago and must leave for personal reason. But I could not get it off my mind, Tremont officers, residents are and always wonderful. Now I'm here for good, or should I say I'm here to wait for my demise.

My dad was a resident at this establishment and let me just say, I can't thank Treemont enough. The entire healthcare team was absolutely amazing. The bedside manner, care and motivation was above and beyond. Might I add, the therapy team is awesome! My family and I are forever grateful. Our dad is back walking, talking, eating and enjoying life. Should we ever need their services again, we'll be back! Highly recommended!!!

My dad lived there for two years; first in independent living and then moving to assisted living as his health declined. The staff was helpful and kind; from the office staff to the aides to the dining room servers. I felt comfortable knowing that my dad was well cared for.

Once he needed hospice care they helped to arrange it for me and continued to provide all of us with supportive and loving care.

It was just the place for my dad.

Though my mom has moved to another facility in Taiwan, I felt compelled to post a review. Treemont was hugely accommodating toward her and my family during the years that she lived here. We were able to move her grand piano into one of their large spaces where she could practice and even hold a recital once a year. Though my mom can be intensely challenging and there were plenty of obstacles, I believe Treemont always did the best they could to work things out with us as a family to ensure a harmony between my mom and the larger Treemont community. Thank you to Rodney and all of the staff that

This place is garbage. Students struggle to find simple washcloths for body care, and staff is unnecessarily mean to students. Did a round of clinicals here for nursing school and CNA license.

Our mom has been in the same home for 32 years, so I expected it to take a while for her to fully acclimate to her new apartment and all of the new people. However, she is already telling us how much she likes it and wouldn't want to go back to Nacogdoches even if we were giving her that option. I'm extremely grateful to have found a place that fits her needs -- some extra support but not assisted living. Rodney, Lupe, Beverly, and everyone we have met have been so friendly and helpful -- I feel good about the transition we've made.

I'm currently waiting on an efficiency apartment for my mother and wanted to visit Treemont. Lupe was so great she gave me a tour and answered all my questions. The customer service is excellent, can't wait until my mom moves in.

I have found all the staff to be highly cooperative. From Kelly, Cynthia,Anny, Stacy, Don, Sherrie, Diane and others whose names I can't remember (senior moment!) In any case, all have been responsive to our needs and requests. I know that sometimes it is difficult to provide the care to perfection, but you all come closest of any place we are familiar with through the years. Thanks to all for all your efforts, especially in this covid 19 time.

Knowledgeable staff

The staff on the 2nd floor are very aware of the patients and the patient's needs. Each member of the team was very pleasant and attended to the needs of the patients. The staff interacts with each of the residents and knows the likes and dislikes of each of them. The administrative staff is in tune with what is going on and knows each resident by name. This is a very nice facility with caring health care professionals.

This might be a nice place for those who have all their faculties and it might be ok if your loved one can fend for themselves but I can't recommend this place for someone with severe Alzheimers.
My mother stayed here less periodically over the course of a year. In order to let the staff understand that she was a human being, I put several pictures of her as a young married woman in the mid-1940s on her nightstand. I went to visit her the next day and the pictures were turned upside down on her nightstand. The next day I got there at supper time and saw an aid sitting at the dining room
