Truly a blessing to find this Campground! The staff each and every one of them are incredibly kind, understanding and accommodating. The views from this site are truly beautiful! With a very well maintained property. Location for 'myself' has been somewhat challenging, but, again that's for myself. I work an hour and 19m away... However, I gladly make the commute as I truly love it here ♡ I strongly urge, if your considering staying here, do! You won't regret it. Prices are fairly reasonable, you have full hook-ups with many amenities (when in season) laundry facility on site, clean bathrooms

Ok place, the first day I stayed there I was confronted by the owner. about speeding through the camp site. I definitely was not I tried to make light of the situation but all he wanted to do is start a fight. On my last night there the site next to me was up till at 2am singing as loud as they possibly could. And nothing was done about it. I would not recommend going here if you want peace and quiet.

Love this campground one of my favorites they have winter hookups and the sites a big and private. We lucked out being right next to the playground. Stayed here in January of 2021 and would stay again if we were in the area. We also had a pretty difficult site to back into but everyone was extremely helpful with getting us in and out.

My family camped here this past weekend. I can assure you that you should go somewhere else. Our neighbors were extremely loud. They had their tv surround system going until well after midnight. They were drunk and yelling well past quiet hour. Normally I wouldn't blame the camp grounds but they would drive right past the group and didn't say a word.
Another issue we had was the showers. First you do have to pay to use the showers. Second only one out of four worked and you only get luke warm water. Your paying for this. The straw that broke the camels back was I sent my children (11 and 10) to

I don't write poor reviews unless it bad. This place is that bad. The references to Deliverance is true. They are not big rig friendly. I got yelled at for disconnecting our tow at the office, where I was told on the phone to disconnect. The 50-amp plug was installed upside down so you could not use a surge protector. My family showed up to pick up my wife and I for dinner and they were charged a visitor fee of $15. Everything was closed. They were there less than 30 minutes. I tried to explain this to the bearded guy and he said I don't make the rules. Sleep is option as they partied

Usually I go to state parks for camping. Because of covid we had to make other arrangements and we found The Pines. After reading some reviews on Google I decided to give it a shot, despite the doubts the reviews gave me.
Booking was easy over the phone, way simpler than any state run camping, which was refreshing. Upon arrival at The Pines, I was greeted by a few red flags. Old farming and construction equipment, scrap material and parts, golf carts, and at least 100 wood pallets were the first things I saw. Kind of unsightly. Especially when camping and trying to get away from clutter.

A family run business (26 years so far) clearly run with pride. the staff is lovely and super helpful, the bathrooms clean, the site (20, tent only) was amazing: spacious, secluded, awesome fire pit. wood is delivered to the campsite (woo!) and golden bowl in fitchburg delivers (surprisingly hot and delicious). we will def be returning to this campground again.

This place deserves no stars AT ALL!!!!!! I went to go camping recently and was scared to get out of the car. It's a filthy trailer park.. I also thought it was weird how when I went to check in I got dirty looks from the workers and then I was told EVERY TENT SPACE WAS VACENT! I then was scared wondering why no one seems to want to camp here. Then realized that was I walked into was a old trailer park trying to make some extra money for saying they are a camp ground for the public. When they clearly ARE NOT... I laughed when I saw the 4.5 stars I'm very sad I got the wrong impression

We loved this campground. It was our first time with our new camper and Paul the owner was so helpful. He helped us back in, made sure we were all set up right, and checked in on us to make sure we were all set. Nice pool area and game room, clean, nice family atmosphere. He had a site on a brook and it was so peaceful. We will be back.
