The Seven Maples story. Seven Maples is a small, friendly, family owned and operated campground. Nestled within the storybook village of Hancock, New Hampshire, a short drive from Mount Monadnock. The 56 year old campground is located on a historic 54 acre piece of farm land. That was one of the stops for the old B&M Keene to Boston Railroad.
Seven Maples Campground provides a clean and quiet camping experience for groups, couples, and families, in a rustic country setting. There is a nice balance of friendly seasonal, overnight, and group campers, each within their own neighborhoods. Seven Maples Campground offers a variety of campsites and hookups to accommodate every type of camping unit.

We booked a 4 night trip to Seven Maples in August. It was myself, my Husband and our 3 kids (ages 15 and under). It was our first time going and we all loved it! They had the nicest staff, the cleanest… bathrooms (with free showers), a great arcade room, a store with a the camping essentials, and a huge pool with water slides! We will definitely add this place to our list to revisit.

We absolutely loved our long weekend. The owner is so nice and literally never stops working. The campers are so friendly. The pool is unbelievably amazing. Wish we could make it our seasonal campground next… year but our camper will be 10 years old next year so it won’t make the cut. Lola is sad to be home and keeps waiting for the parade of kiddos who want to love on her.

First time here and although we camp a lot we seldom camp at organized camp grounds....everyone very friendly and helpful.....entrance area very nice.....pools are excellent including the twin tube waterslide that made me wish i weighed less than 150, and the kids certainly enjoyed them and the pools.....2 rest rooms, the one near us was badly in need of some tlc...the sites are close together in many areas and of course there are a lot of permanent sites....this is a lovely area of nh and hancock has several interesting places to eat and enjoy as does nearby peterboro...

This is definitely a gem in the beautiful landscape of NH! I was impressed from the moment we pulled in, to check in. They had a gorgeous swimming area, with splash park and 2 enclosed water slides. The office and surrounding area was well kept and had an additional pool there. The security gate made you feel at ease (not that one would be concerned, just added that extra touch!).
Our site (49) was one of the best on the grounds. We were on a corner lot, plenty of room, horseshoe pits directly behind us as well as a gorgeous walking/bike path.
Overall, the campground was amazing. The kids all

The campground is pretty small. Much smaller than the map describes. Most of the people in the camp are there in RV's snd there is not much space in the campground for people who are using a tent.
One of the bathrooms was nice, while the other one by the pool was disgusting. It looked like it was never cleaned. It was also poorly lit.
The "heated pool" was not heated at all. It was almost as cold as the regular pool which was as cold as ice. The only good thing about the pools was that the water slides were really cool and enjoyable.

We really enjoyed 7 Maples. We asked for a quiet, shaded site and got just that. The site was a good size for my large tent and plenty of room for my motorcycle and trailer.
The owners are nice and helpful. They give us information of the area and stop by the site to see how we were doing.
The grounds are well care for. The pool was small but heated. And a new pool is being built. There's two bath houses, one newer and the other older but clean. We use the older one with no issues.
I'm sure we'll return for another weekend.

I took my family to Seven Maples this weekend for their Lobster and Clam Bake. They started to impress me from the time I called to make my reservation. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful.
My family and I are just starting to get into camping, so we're now in the process of discovering which camp grounds to visit. Seven Maples is one we will definitely come back too.
For context, we're camping in a pop-up trailer and we have two boys ages 3 and 4. We were also meeting up with a group of other campers. We were located at site S11.

I definitely agree that the website's map of the place was a little exaggerated - it's definitely not as big as it makes it out to be, nor as secluded. i too stayed in the tents only area, and was disappointed to find it located right next to a road, where i could see/hear cars and runners, as well as someone's house.... still, i was pleased with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, and had a blast regardless. not sure i'd go back though...

First off, a quick warning: it's really difficult to communicate with any campground to reserve a site for Memorial Day weekend, before the actual weekend. Lots of voice mails. But that has nothing to do with this review, because all campgrounds seemed to be like that.
The best part of our trip was our hike up the close-by Mt. Monadnock (maybe a 20-min. drive). But, being from Boston, that could have been a day trip.
The thing about Seven Maples is, it's kind of cliquey. All of the RV folks play guitar and sing Kumbaya around a massive campfire all night, and they all say "
