Office Manager-Shari and Dr. Perkins are life-long friends. They started the Houston practice in 1993. Her psychology degrees have helped in "softening the blow" when explaining insurance policies and changes. Shari enjoys traveling, golf and gardening. Front Office Administrator-Robyn will be the first smiling face you see when visiting our office.

I recently needed to have a crown reattached to my tooth. Although I did not have an appointment, Acadian Family Dental thankfully was able to see me that same morning and reattach the crown. I used to be scared of dentists. Dr Perkins has such a genital nature. He understood my fear. First treatment I had music in my ears and a little laughing gas and tears running down my face as he fixed my teeth as the years passed I only occasionally use anything. Today I took my 89 year old mother. Such kindness. Plus, and this is a huge plus....he respects my time. Rarely have I ever waited more than 5 minutes. Exceptional care and work.

I’ve been a patient of Acadian Dental for years now and I highly recommend them! Excellent front office staff. Very personable and painless hygienists and dentist too. They send me text reminders about when I need to schedule a cleaning and have weekend and evening hours for those who work during the week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So i have waited several months before writing this because I have liked this place, the dentists and front desk person is always very nice. I made the mistake of bringing my children here. This place is not child ready. The dental assistant (her name is Amber I believe) was very short tempered and mean to my kid who was nervous going to the dentist. She asked my son if he was slow or something. She at one point said he's really special (implying that he had mental retardation). I have held this in me for so long because I thought maybe I could shake it off but I just cant. What a horrible

I was a patient when I was a kid and teen and was sad to leave their practice when we switched insurances. Thankfully, when I was in my 30s, my insurance was accepted by them and I have once again been a loyal client. They're efficient, easy to talk to and answer any questions I might have.
Dr. Perkins and Dr. Driver's availability is also incredibly useful when I do my 6 month check up; unsure how it if is you need to see them in an emergency.
They also work with you to establish a payment plan if you have to pay out of pocket and can't afford the whole cost.

Two hour wait is kind of unreasonable.. good cleaning by the hygienist, however. I want to note that My wife is suffering from horrendous ulcers to her gums following a single filling procedure. No pain medication was provided by the staff considering the ulcers were apparent following the filling procedure. I'm not the type to write many negative reviews or rather any reviews in general, but I had to give some folks a heads up.

I started seeing Dr. Perkins after a referal from an old boss. She did not steer me wrong. This place has a homey feel to it. Robyn at the front desk is amazing. Greets you by name as you walk in and as nice as they come. Lynda the hygentist knows her stuff. She reminds you each and time you go how important flossing is. My teeth and gums have gotten so much healthier since I started coming here. I just go in for my cleanings and xrays and they send me on my way.
