Services
Lakewood Villa specializes in effective post-acute care that strives to get residents back to the active lives they once knew. Our facility uses specialized medical and rehabilitation technology along with advanced staff training in complex care conditions to provide an overall approach to wellness.
Our physical therapy team works toward specific goals of achieving the resident's highest functional level of independence. Physical therapy focuses on the identification and rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairment and pain, as well as future injury prevention. Following evaluation, our experienced physical therapists develop an individualized treatment program.
Our professional occupational therapists use task-directed activities in the treatment of our residents whose functional abilities, daily activities and independence have been impaired by illness, injury or aging. Occupational therapy assists our residents in adapting to their social and physical environment by mastering tasks essential for daily living.
Our speech therapists provide a range of interventions to assess and help restore abilities in the areas of communication, swallowing and cognition. Treatment programs are designed to help residents affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Our professionals also work with residents suffering from hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and complex medical conditions.
Mail is delivered to residents personally on a daily basis except for weekends and holidays. Consider using our Send a Greeting feature on the website. You can choose from a variety of postcards to fill out and mail to your loved one for a small fee or you may type a message and through email, send us your email greeting that we will hand deliver to your loved one residing in our facility.

I used to work for lakewood villa, it was a nice place until I left due to my pregnancy, I called in regards to questions about my W2 and HR was completely rude, cutting me off, and such. I pretty much was hung up on. If you want to work for someone whos nice to your face and than is completely rude when life occurrences happen this is the place for you! Very unprofessional.

My dad has been in Lakewood Villa now for 4 months, and the staff works hard to accomodate his behaviors and his needs. They are very attentive and they care about the people who are residents there, they stop and talk to them and make them the priority. The other day one resident was shocked that the director of nursing knew him by name. From the management to the rest of the staff, I have never met better people to care for my dad. They also keep the place clean, and serve good food, my dad doesn't eat much but he likes how it tastes. I would highly recommend this place.
