Since our founding in 1930, our Scandinavian Communities have maintained a reputation for resident dignity, excellent care and quality service. All our Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing services are resident centered and, therefore, value the whole person and include preventative and early intervention care.
SCANDINAVIAN Assisted Living is a gracious assisted living residence with 35 apartments. Our small size allows our residents and staff to come to know each other well. Bonds of friendship and trust grow easily, and residents are able to balance the level of privacy, socialization, independence and support that fits their personal lifestyle and needs.
Are you looking for a taste of the good life in more ways than one? Our chefs use the finest local ingredients to offer a wide range of dining experiences. Culinary offerings go above and beyond to accommodate your dietary needs and preferences based on your health condition. Transportation is provided by our friendly professional staff who will assist you in scheduling appointments and getting you there on time.
After a hospital or rehabilitation stay returning home can be overwhelming as you consider all the help you might require. There is a need to coordinate meals, personal care, skilled services, and housekeeping. There is also the very real desire for companionship and perhaps, someone to take charge.

I’m working here first shift right now from agency, and I just want to say that I am SO impressed. As soon as I walked in the building I was helped right away, the nurse Donna is amazing she’s been more than happy to answer all of my questions all day long (which its unusual for agency staff to be treated so nicely) and the facility is very very clean, smells good, and I definitely will be returning to work here when there are shifts available.

When my home started to become unsafe for my mother we made the decision to move her into assisted living. We wanted a place where she wouldn't feel overwhelmed by the size of the facility. We visited a few places that had been recommended to us and found Scandinavian Home to have the warm, cozy feel we were hoping for. The staff is more like extended family while still maintaining their professionalism. They are attentive and caring and inform me promptly if she has any issues. She's been there for over a year now and she still says she feels like a queen because her every need is taken care of
