Community Caregivers of Greater Derry was formed in 1988 by a group of concerned citizens who saw a need among elderly and disabled residents for practical assistance and support that would enable them to stay in their own homes, in safety and with dignity, for as long as possible. The individuals we serve may have no family members who live nearby who can help, or may be unable to safely drive or do certain tasks for themselves.

Our services foster independence with dignity, while at the same time providing meaningful volunteer opportunities and creating a more caring community. Caregivers covers the towns of Chester, Danville, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry, Sandown and Windham.

I cannot say enough kind words about this hidden gem! The workers were kind and attentive on the phone, willing to put anything on hold you would need, and were just the same in person.
The fact that I was in a bind, broke my ankle, and no one had a knee scooter available and they did and it was completely free just with a moral obligation to return the item whenever I was done.
I felt comfortable and safe that everything was sanitized and cared for. It was also nice that they had rare objects like crutch cushions so the hard plastic didn’t rub.
Not only will I return but I hope to let everyone

This place was awesome when I needed items for my mother's equipment during her stages of illness. Saves you so much financial cost. I continue to donate to them so they can continue their services for the community. Great service!

Great place to borrow medical equipment (canes, walker, wheelchair, tub sest, etc), or get help with transportation to medical appointments, gticery shopping, etc. Also volunteer to help your neighbors.

Prior to my mothers death back in 2014 Caregivers played a crucial role in providing for her living needs. They provided her with her meals and necessary Medical Equipment. God Bless them all

Amazing place. If you can't afford to buy medical equipment you can rent it. The equipment is clean,and in good condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This organization is fantastic! I would have never been able to afford everything we needed. The loaners closet made a horrible event much easier (financially). We appreciate it very much.
