The Greater Salem Caregivers is a non-profit organization which provides rides for people who can no longer drive. Do you or someone you know have appointments that you need to get to and you no longer have the ability to drive? We are here to help you. We have volunteers who will come to your place of residence and will pick you up and bring you to your appointment and wait for you until you are ready to go home.

Services
Transportation - is our single most requested service. The majority of our transportation services are directly linked to the client's health. Transportation to Boston, Burlington, MA, Manchester and Nashua is sometimes available for those needing medical care outside the Greater Salem area.
The program allows individuals to practice preventative health care by making it possible for them to see a doctor regularly; otherwise, the lack of public transportation and the cost of a taxi would make doctor visits prohibitive.Please note: Since the Greater Salem Caregivers provide services through a cadre of unpaid volunteers, all requests may not be able to be met.
