At Scratch Bakery Cafe, we bake handmade breads fresh every day, the way bread has been made for centuries in Europe. We use the finest all-natural ingredients and leaven our doughs with natural starters. Our skilled artisan baker then shapes each loaf by hand to preserve the open, airy structure of the dough.
The loaves are allowed to rise slowly to enhance the complex flavors of the wheat. Finally, the bread is scored by hand and baked in our specialty ovens to create its beautiful caramel-colored, crunchy crust. Please be aware that we take every reasonable precaution in the preparation of our Gluten Free items. However, we cannot guarantee absolute prevention of any cross-contamination. While we use non gluten ingredients, it is important to understand that as a bakery which makes regular breads and other baked goods, small amounts of gluten-based items remain in the air, including the ovens.
BASIC PURPOSE AND FUNCTION: Washing and sanitizing all plates, utensil and cooking equipment. May assist Front of House with bussing tables. While out running errands for work, we thought we would pop by a cute local place we had seen a number of times before but had never tried. The staff were amazing, the bakery and deli cases were well stocked and clean, and the outdoor patio seating were quite comfortable with padded chairs. Unfortunately, the breakfasts were barely more than passable.

I am in love with this place! Everything is amazing, from their drinks to their sandwiches to their pastries. Their Everything Croissant was TO DIE FOR. Definitely also recommend the Lemon Tart, Spinach & Artichoke Croissant, & Cinnamon Roll. Honestly I'm trying to make my way through all the pastries so I'm sure I'll be adding more to my favorites list as time goes on. Still daydreaming about that Everything Croissant though. Gahhh it was perfect.

My wife and I found this place on a whim. On a very busy morning, my wife and I were headed to our respective COVID work from home workspaces when it dawned on me that I could really use a breakfast burrito. About 45 minutes after I said it, she knocked on my office door with the most amazing surprise. She handed me a hot and surprisingly hefty bundle of everything I was hoping for!
After DESTROYING the entire burrito in a matter of minutes (any reasonable person would have just eaten half) I asked my wife where she found such a gem. She told me she searched "breakfast burrito" in the delivery

Nice bakery and cafe to American standards. The almond croissant does not have the good crust consistency and the frangipane is very heavy made with almond skin and bitters. The raspberry almond tart is made with the same frangipane without the bitters. As for the Napoleon, the creme pâtissière is light but the puff pastry is undercooked and seem to be made from a frozen dough.
