Open late until 11pm on a Sunday so was practically the only spot around as I scrambled to get a meal prior to my weekly 36 hour fast. Ordered the trout which was tasty and the presentation was very nice. A little pricey but well worth it. Most items are Persian dishes but also has pizza. Nice ambiance and good service. Will come back to try other items next time I'm in the area!

We just had my daughter’s babyshower at MCafe & Grill and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful inside area, and plenty of parking. The manager Ramin, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lots of great people. Amrita, Sara, and few more were smiling and helping willingly from beginning all through the night. The staff is accommodating and efficient. Appetizers, dinner and music were wonderful in every way. Also loved everything about DJ Homayoun. Having a good DJ was very important to me. DJ Homayoun played all the right songs and kept

Unfortunately I can't believe they are even in business. Me and my friends we went there on Friday night. It was a graduation party and they said the only way to seat is to pay for Buffett which was $50.00, We really didn't want Buffett but we decided we stay and give it a try. They didn't served food till 10:30 and no desert at all and few foods. And you could ask for soft drink once.
At the end when it was time to pay at the check out time, manager was charging us and on the I pad, he entered the 20% tips himself not even asking for us.Same thing happened to all my friends.

Let's start how the owner greet us at the door, we went on Friday night just to have food in the patio and did not want to join the event inside( included the dj and buffet), as soon as we said we would like to sit outside he said your food will be ready in an hour because we have to prepare for the people inside, super on professional and rude . Why would you discriminate between your customers.
If we didn't drive 30 min to get there at 9pm I would totally leave, since I was with my parents we decided to stay.

That was the most terrible Persian food I've ever had. I ordered Tahdig with 2 Stews, Gheymeh and Fesenjoon. And I should call them Oil Stews instead. It was full of oil, and tasted nothing but OIL. The Fesenjoon, tasted nothing like Persian authentic Fesenjoon, absolutely no Pomegranate paste, and no Walnuts. I don't even know why they call it Fesenjoon?! We called the manager Ramin, he was nice and tried to make it up, but I'm not giving this place another chance.

I ordered the food 3 weeks in advance and paid the deposit. I called one week before and also a day prior to our event to review the order and make sure they did not forget our order.
First of all, the food arrived 2 hours late. When the driver finally arrived, he said the salad was coming with the Uber. The driver left with no apology claiming that he had trouble with his car. The salad came an hour late after the guests finished their dinner.
One main dish was completely missing and kabob kobideh was raw. Guests

I live in Maryland, and I love M Cafe the best Persian food in CA, not only in Irvine. I have been in Irvine for 5 days and I ate at M Cafe 3 times. Combo M2 and combo M3 are the best. The Barely soup is outstanding. Great customer service, they make you feel special and they treat you with respect. The Tiramisu was great.
I will try the whole menu until I go back home.

Very disappointed with the food. I was visiting from San Diego and my friends ordered the Persian pizza, sossis sandwich, and mortadella sandwich. The pizza wasn't so bad, however, the sandwiches were terrible. The lettuce was so old and dark that we had to take them out of the sandwiches , there weren't enough pickles and tomatoes, and the Mortadella was in fact bologna. ( if you're thinking this is an actual Persian mortadella, it's not. It's a supermarket bologna that you purchase from Vons.

I have had the food here before and it was ok. I am not sure what has changed. However, the taste and quality is not what it was. The spice that was in the kabobs is not what I have tasted before nor what a Persian food is too taste like. Further, the extra charges for substitute rice is way high. Not a good experience at all..

I had been craving Persian food for DAYS and this satisfied all my cravings. I love that M Cafe offers koobideh wraps since not all Iranian restaurants do. We ordered the chicken and beef koobideh wraps and the mast o moosir. I love that the wraps are made with lavash bread. Everything in these sandwiches was great. The chicken and beef were seasoned perfectly, the veggies gave it a nice crunch, and the bread was warm and flaky. Paired with mast o moosir, this was fantastic! Would 100% come back!

This place is good, they have awesome pizzas, sandwiches and verity of Persian/Mediterranean dishes. Great customer service, delicious and inexpensive food makes this place unique. They are usually open till midnight which is a great plus. Persian pizza is the most famous one among everyone I know but personally I prefer their mushroom and beef pizza. Among the sandwiches M cafe sandwich is the one I suggest. Keep in mind to plan ahead, specially during weekends your order may take up to 45 minutes to be ready!

But honestly this has been my go to for tasty and price friendly options.
