Grind and seal flooring is the industry term for concrete which has a clear coating system installed onto a concrete floor. Grind and seal concrete systems finish your floors so their striking, natural-look can shine through. Unlike other flooring that are applied atop a subfloor, concrete is the substrate itself.
You can't really go out and buy pre-made epoxy countertops or slabs like granite, quartz, marble, or laminate countertops. They must be made in place. Corian and cultured marble are a resin-based countertop material, and epoxy is considered a solid-surface countertop as well. With some epoxy products, you can recreate the look of these surfaces at a fraction of the cost which is a definite advantage.

My husband and I had always wanted to make our garage floor “pretty,” so we made the decision to use Stampcrete of Kansas City and were VERY happy with the final product. We chose the epoxy flake. From the bid, made in person by Mark, the owner, to the finished product - 5 stars for service and quality. I highly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Stampcrete did a stellar job on our floors at our business and were so professional that we also hired them for our home basement. Two different products; work was flake coating and home was polished concrete with black water based stain, beautiful updates in a timely manner! Couldn’t ask for better people to work with.
