Waited 35 minutes to be seen (sadly average for a doctor's office) and then when I was, the assistant was very pleasant. However, Dr. Plateroti after removing the first mole, when I asked him to remove the second of two moles I was in there for (which was located in my shirt collar area), looked put out and said "Why don't you just grow your hair longer"?
FYI this mole was irritated by my shirt collar with or without short hair.
I don't know if he was just feeling lazy or doesn't think women should have short hair but I certainly won't be back. I got the

I have been happily visiting Dr. Plateroti's office for several years now, but last week was the first time meeting him. He made my visit delightful in spite of getting spritzed with liquid nitrogen--Dr. Plateroti brings with his consummate professionalism a bit of that Al Pacino flair. And his highly competent staff makes you feel like they are your best friends.

I absolutely love this place! I have seen several PA's at Plateroti Dermatology and each has presented with a caring yet professional manner. I have never felt rushed and always know the provider has listened to and address any concerns. Wait time is minimal, office is comfortable and now, during the pandemic, extra precautions have been wisely taken. Would definitely recommend Plateroti Dermatology.

If you are older or have preexisting conditions placing you at risk for COVID, do NOT use this provider. In terms of infection prevention they do aa good job but for one MAJOR mistake. They don't require all their patients to wear masks! Worse still, when I complained about it, I was told if I were uncomfortable, I could wait in my car! Not the unmasked patients, but the patients wearing a mask who are "uncomfortable"!
I'm retirement age, use a cane, am a recent cancer survivor with other health issues. If I were to be sickened by COVID, it's unlikely I'd survive

First time here. Lots of people in waiting room bit I still got into a room within 30 minutes. Lots of seats and I believe there was magazine and brochures to read while you wait.
Everyone is really nice so far as I have witnessed. They did ask if I would like to strip down to boxers to get a full body check up since I was a first time patient at a dermatology office. I said no def no. So I am not sure how that whole process is.
There was 2 ladies that accompanied the dr. It made me a little uncomfortable so I asked what they were doing in there. I guess it is her assistants. I have never witnessed

I arrived from NM with a serious skin issue that had to be treated ASAP. I inquired around and was told Dr Plateroti was the best, well he certainly is, and better then any other Dermatologist I have ever been to! Not only did he take care of the melanoma but also found a basal cell that was missed in NM. Then he put my face back together(which was not easy) and people haven't even noticed!.The scar is so minamum. He is a magician with the needle! Dr P also spends time with you and connects! His office is well organized and staff totally awesome! They are highly trained and knowledgeable.

I would do anything to avoid going back to this office. They have been nothing but a headache. Initially I made an appointment to have my moles/sun spots checked. The original appointment was about 6 weeks out. They then rescheduled for another 4 weeks out after that. I suspect this was because I was a new patient.
The appointment was quick. Literally was in and out within 30 minutes. Had my moles checked and one removed...not because it looked bad...just worse than the others. The PA (or whoever actually did the examine and mole removal) was perfectly adequate.
Then the billing process began

I was really disappointed in my visit to this office. I waited for more than 2 hours in the front waiting room and then an additional 1/2 hour in the exam room. Mary was the only one seeing patients that day and she was obviously rushed and over-booked. When I left at 6:15pm, there were still other patients to see! The staff looked exhausted and it was just a ridiculous experience. I waited nearly 3 months for the appointment, too. I will never go back there!
