This was our first time to visit River Valley Ranch. My kids were hesitant to come. They were participating in homeschool day without other friends and not feeling confident about the activities. At the end of the day when I saw all 3 returning from their adventure, I was so happy we came. My 11 year old rarely smiles so her big smile as she returned said everything to me about a day well spent.

I can’t say enough great things about our camp experience (session 7 2021). It was my daughters first year of sleep away camp, so of course I was nervous, but she had so much fun! She wants to go multiple weeks next year! I even got a call a few days in to let me know how she was doing, and daily pictures! She loved the food, the activities and the friendships! She thought all of the counselors were awesome, talks about someone named Mayo Man a lot 😂! I asked her “oh no who tucked you in at camp?” And she said “Ms April of course”. She loved Ms April so much! I’m just so happy that

We have a family tradition of allowing our children to go to Camp Sandy Cove. So when it was my middle child's turn Camp Sandy Cove had closed down. So we looked at 3 camps but RVR offered a lot more hands down. My children being around staff and a program that praises God was important.
My daughter is ready to go back next year for 2 weeks vs the 1 week. She loved her experience. My youngest child will be attending as well for 1 week next year.

This was our daughter’s third time attending RVR…her first was Classic camp and they slept in Tee Pees, in 2019, and then two sessions (Classic and Horsemanship) in summer 2021. She enjoyed Horsemanship this year (her first time) so much, that she asked if she could attend two sessions of Horsemanship in Summer 2022. Love that we are able to set up payments throughout the year, and also that it is direct debit. She always comes home having made new friends and with a smile and lots of stories to share. We love being able to send her Bunk notes-and that she can write back to us. The staff is

My kids were 4 and 6 at the time of the camp last week. I wanted a camp they could do together with plenty of activities. Being fairly new to camps I was worried it may take time for them to adjust or they may not enjoy it, but my kids begged me to sign them up for more weeks and were excited to go back every morning. Them having a camp experience like they did made things so much easier for me. Thank you RVR, we'll definitely be back again!

We love RVR. I can not say enough about them. The only down side is my last child just finished his last week at RVR. He is 17 and aged out. He is sad he can not return for more. He has enjoyed 5 or 6 years of paintball and praising God. My daughter aged out 2 years ago but is a counselor this year. My kids come home from camp spiritually renewed. They love the speakers, small group, and milkshakes as well as all the activities.

I loved the communication and overall organization of this camp. My 11yo came home talking nonstop about enjoying herself, singing camp songs and talking about friends she made there. She is pretty picky, so I was nervous about how she would take the experience, but she did love it! It does incorporate faith based praying and the occasional faith filled camp song. We are not a part of any organized religion, so during that time my daughter participated in crafts, as needed. She said she loved all of the staff, and the horses. They made me feel, as an anxious parent, at ease. Highly recommend.
