Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality
I was very disappointed with my experience. The doctor was late coming in then spent about 10 minutes total in the room. She didn’t explain anything to me or ask me any questions and it was my first time having this done. I felt very rushed and it felt very unprofessional. I don’t think that I’ll be returning.

This is what a “2020” doctors office should look & feel like to a patient. Not only does she care and treat my physical & mental health needs, but she genuinely cares about my well-being as a person and as a woman.... 🙋🏼♀️💁🏼♀️
Dr. Okudo makes the experience of “going to the doctor” exceptionally pleasant. She even has big & comfy exam-room chairs!😃 (not the typical loud and crunchy paper you have to sit/lay on when being examined 😂🤣) There is always an aroma of some-kind of fabulous oil and its always impeccably clean. She is also a Master of many trades

I am sad to say my experience at Balm of Gilead is currently my least favorite in terms of dealing with a mental health professional. At first, I was super excited to work with a mental health professional who was a woman of color. Unfortunately, my excitement went out the window quickly. The supportive staff to the health care professional were kind and attentive. But my experience with the provider herself was the opposite. First, the provider barely gave me eye contact for 80% of our visit. I understand that she was taking notes on her laptop. She ended up talking more to her laptop screen than

I'm not sure what you have going on in your life but the Mental Health Treatment that I received from Dr. Chinwe Okudo was the best I had from the time that I walked in it felt warm and inviting. She helped me with my paperwork which took 2 /3 hours and smiled the whole time even though I was freaking out .She never pushed any spiritual talk she helped me with the professional Mental Degree that she has I really didn't want to leave she tells people what they need to hear not all will be good but she's the best that I've been to in all my time in mental Health and please don't let 1 review determine

Unprofessional support for mental health. The mental health provider constantly self disclosed about their problems while minimally listening, being unsympathetic, and dismissive towards my own issues. Do not expect any therapuetic advice or training but only religious advice. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a mental health facility.
