Bernie is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has established a reputation for delivering fresh, mouth watering cuisine that pleases groups large and small. All recipes are developed by Bernie and menus are created to match your special event.

Chef Bernie and his team at Black River Catering was TOP NOTCH! A big thank you to Bernie for making my parents' 50th anniversary party a big success! We hosted a catered event in our backyard, and his recommendations and insights were invaluable.
Everything from tastings at his cafe, to menu suggestions and set up recommendations, Bernie was a great partner. Marta and the waitstaff were very professional and attentive, arriving well before the party to make sure the tent, tables, chairs and linens were all in place -- as well as clean up afterwards.
Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

The most delightful part about working with Bernie is that I trust him completely! I've relied on Black River Catering for years! Never disappointed and often amazed! I have become so comfortable I can simply indicate the number of people and the purpose of the event and I leave the rest to the professionals! Bravo!
