I have a functional approach to getting fit. You will learn how to move better. This will help you to achieve your goals and to maintain your hard won success. The part of my job that I enjoy the most is seeing people perform an exercise by the end of the session that they could not do at the beginning.

Dan is the best. Very knowledgable, great at explaining the way muscle groups work together. Great with those of us who have had injuries in the past. Couldn't recommend more. My experience working with Daniel Lew was truly outstanding. I contacted him because I was interested in improving my posture, balance, flexibility, and core strength, as well as to work on tightness and pain in my lower back. I worked with Daniel for five months and had significant improvement in all of these areas. Daniel created specific exercise regimens for me that directly addressed my goals. He has a deep understanding of human musculature and movement and develops exercises that exactly meet each person’s needs. I've been retired for 5 years but never really worked out until I started working with Dan. I especially appreciate the stretching we do and how Dan gears it to the areas needing work. A long-developing hip problem sent me to the doctor and then a physical therapist. After mentioning how Dan was approaching the problem, the therapist said to stay with that trainer! Dan knows what exercises work best for specific problems.

I started meeting with Daniel as a way to introduce myself to working at the gym and to develop proper forms. During this time, he has demonstrated to me an immense amount of knowledge about the workings of the body and its capabilities.
In terms of the actual sessions, Daniel and I focused on the core, strength, and some cardio. For each of these, he would not hesitate to show the best stretch to remove tightness in an area or to improve my form. And, to top it all off, he's incredibly nice and pretty funny.

Daniel and I have been working together 3 times a week for 2 years and he’s been very accommodating to my hectic and somewhat unpredictable schedule. His energy is contagious, which is very helpful for the workout regimen he has implemented. We focus on functional training for sports, including core strength and flexibility. I have been training with Dan for over four years. I need a trainer who is sensitive to my limitations and still gives me a challenging workout. Dan's workouts keep me strong, flexible, and toned. During workouts, he is totally focused on me. He is always teaching me how to improve each exercise to get the most benefit. Dan is a really good trainer. I highly recommend him.
