I don’t usually write reviews unless I had an amazing experience or had a terrible experience.
I called Efficient Water Heater because I have purchased their water heater and they have installed it for me a few years ago.
Recently, I have a water leak due to the water heater pipe burst inside the wall in the house + main water valve is leaking. They quoted me a price and scheduled/confirmed the next day visit from 11am-1am. Few hours later, I suddenly received a text from Efficiency and told me my appointment is now 2pm-4pm. What happened to the earlier confirmation?!?!? I was not happy with

We needed to replace our leaking 14 year old tankless water heater, and I contacted Efficient Water Heaters. Joseph had been very responsive over email, quoted a very reasonable price, and today he replaced the heater. It was a very smooth experience. He did a very clean and thorough job.

I had a broken water heater that wasn't putting out any hot water. Called this company and they came out, looked at it for about 2 minutes, and told me it's completely shot and the only option is to completely replace it. They quoted me $1600. I called another water heater repair technician to take a look and he said it just needed a new burner, which he installed in less than fifteen minutes. Joseph, the owner, was extremely rude when I spoke to him on the phone. The water heater install went great. 5 months later, the owner called me and demanded that I had made a payment for the services, and that he was going to charge my credit card. I explained that I'd be happy to pay if that was the case, but I wanted to check my bank. 10min later I confirmed with the check number that I had made the payment. The owner insisted that I hadn't bad and he threatened to charge my CC. I produced the cancelled check. 10 min later he called me back to apologize after he researched with his bank. I would never give this vendor a CC number.

I had a great experience with Efficient Water Heaters. The water heater at my rental unit started leaking water. I requested for online quotes from various companies on Yelp. Joseph from Efficient Water Heaters responded within minutes. In the end, Efficient Water Heaters has the best price and they were available the next day. Joseph kept me up to date when he's departing for the unit and when he's 10 minutes away from arriving. Within a couple of hours, the water heater got replaced. Efficient Water Heaters is one of the worst contractors I have dealt with in a long time. Joseph is super arrogant and is unwilling to stand by the work he does and the brands he recommends. If you need any sort of service for the water heater after the initial install, Efficient Water Heaters will not be of any help. So beware before using them. We contacted Efficient Water Heaters because of a delayed ignition problem. I called around to various companies and from the moment I spoke to Joseph I knew this was the company I was going to go with. Joseph was here within a couple of hours and had the new water installed and also fixed what the previous plumber had installed incorrectly. If you want a job done correctly, efficiently and honestly go with Efficient Water Heaters.

From the time I talk to Joseph to the time he and his crew finished the job (water heater replacement), everything is so smooth. They did a wonderful job. they are also professional and efficient. the whole job took less than 2 hrs. highly recommend.
