Services
We've selected the brands we carry, quite simply, because we like the products and because we appreciate the good service we get from these companies. Here's a little bit about them. We've carried Jamis bicycles for close to 25 years. You may not have heard of them because they are a little smaller company, but Jamis bikes are well regarded by folks who know bikes.
Hybrids are good bikes for riding around the neighborhood, going to the park, or making the occasional run to the market. They have a comfortable upright riding position, a nice wide seat, and medium size tires, which are good for the bumpy steets or occasional shortcut across the grass. We were delightfully surprised at how well the Citizen rode for a bike in this price range.
These bikes are a good choice for someone that wants more than a casual bike, something sleek, but is not looking to get into a full blown road bike. You can put a rack on the back and go to the grocery store, or ride them to work, or go meet your friends for a cup. Built with some performance, flat bar bikes are swift and sleek, good for longer rides, and good for adding that cardio to your fitness routine.
There's nothing like them. They can take you down the street or across the country. They're very fast and very efficient. People buying them are often looking for a bike to work out on, a bike for longer rides, or maybe they want to add cycling to their exercise mix. The narrow wheels gives them a light, nimble ride.
For your child, that means their bike will be easier to pedal and easier to operate; for you, "no assembly required" and fewer visits to the bike shop for repairs. These are the kind of bikes that you can pass down from child to child. They last for years. Then when you're finally done with them, you can sell, donate, or trade them in to us for the next size up.

These guys are the best! I had a bad experience at my local shop so I came to Intown based on their Google reviews to get some advice before buying a used bike. They had a very nice Jamis road bike in stock in my size and Mike the owner let me test ride it but did not try to sell me or pressure me to buy in any way. He offered very honest advice about the used bikes I was looking at too. I brought in one of the used bikes I was interested in the next day which they examined thoroughly for a very fair price. After looking it over Daniel told me it was in great shape and a very good value. In short

We bought a 20" bike for my daughter's birthday online. It arrived in a large box and we started assembling it the night before. We failed installing the handle bar brake correctly :(. We called Intown Bicycles and they worked us in same- day and fixed the bike and put air in the tires! It took less than an hour and the cost was a very reasonable $35. Everyone was incredibly friendly! I can't recommend this store highly enough!

I went here to get a new set of pedals. Rita was very helpful and installed them for me. She also took the time to air up my tires. The price was maybe a bit higher than you would pay on the internet, but with the level of knowledge and customer service I received, it was well worth it. I will be back for any future bicycle related needs.

I want to say thank you. My teen daughter came in today because the chain fell off of her bike as she was making her way to the beltline. She walked with her bike to your shop and you kindly took her bike to the back and fixed the chain for her. As a bonus, you adjusted her seat and handle bars. She didn’t expect it or ask for it, but she definitely appreciated the extra care and so did I. (Especially since this wasn’t a bike that was purchased at your shop.) I can definitely say the next time we are in the market for a new bike or a rad vintage bike like the ones you have in front of your

TLDR: Been to Intown twice for a rear tire replacement and then for a bike tune-up. After both visits, the brakes were rubbing against the wheel (without pulling the brake handle) so I had to personally readjust them. I don't perform bike maintenance myself because I want to make sure everything is done correctly. I know they did a poor job with my brakes because the issues were obvious, but I am still not confident enough in my abilities to know that everything else was done correctly. I will be taking my bike somewhere else soon to make sure it is at least safe to ride.

I've taken two bikes here now and I had a really good experience both times. I took a bike there after a minor accident for a crash inspection, and they only charged $35 for the inspection and deducted any repairs and maintenance from that fee. When I got my bike back I also noticed that they had adjusted the brakes and lubed the chain, two things that I assume weren't part of the crash inspection but were great customer service. I took another bike there that needed significant repairs, and they were really thorough and charged a fair price for the amount of work it needed. They were also thoughtful

They are so friendly at Intown Bicycles. Great staff with fair prices and fast service make this the best bike shop in the city. I had a tune-up performed in the height of the pandemic and they got my bike back to me at least 10 days earlier than expected. After the Atlanta Cycling debacle of 2008, it's the only shop I go to.

I ordered a bike online and had it delivered here for assembly. Didn't receive a reminder call on the pickup date they promised but I came by any way. Daniel and Rita were the ones helping me at the store. I'm so happy with my finished bike. They even kept all the instruction booklets and small assembly tools accompanying the bike I ordered. However, they usually have to tend to many customers at a time so there might be a bit waiting, but that's totally understandable. I also bought a lock and wanted to come back for a pump and a helmet as well!

Extremely helpful crew and non-pushy. They really want you to get the right fitting bike but also took the time to look over my other bike for a tune up and give recommendations that weren't the top most expensive unlike the shop on N Highland. Rita is a gem and it's an awesome little bike shop you have to check out

Stopped at Intown Bicycles on my recent trip home to Tennessee from Florida. Have bee wanting to take a look at the Jamis Renegade and they had some in stock. Mike is a great guy - knowledgeable about the bikes he carries and is a true bicycling enthusiast, not just a salesman. I'm truly glad I stopped there and I left with a new Jamis Renegade. Great shop, great people. Thanks Mike !

If I didn't do most of the work on my bikes myself, this is where I'd go for a repair, mod or upgrade. The very nice mechanic named Daniel was working on a gorgeous vintage all Campagnolo Colnago when I visited but was more than happy to answer my stupid questions. If your looking for a bike shop with "no attitude," this is the place.

I ran over an industrial nail this morning on my way to work. Intown Bicycles was half the distance to my usual go-to LBS for repairs, but since I was already late for work and hoping to save time, I decided to drop my tubeless tire off at Intown Bicycles. Except I didn't drop it off. Even though they primarily work on tubeless tires on mountain bikes, the shop tech said he could fix the tire immediately while I waited. I was expecting to be out of commission for at least a day, but this shop was so accommodating, I was good to go almost instantly and didn't miss that much work. What

Thank you Intown Bicycles for being my local bike shop.
Today I brought home my bicycle after its service. It rides like a dream. The squeaky and soft brakes are nice and tight, the chain is clean and smooth... all the things you'd expect from a service.
Then there's all the other things. My chainguard had broken and it's a bit idiosyncratic... in that its hard to get replacements in the US. So I'd managed to find one and they replaced the old one with the new one I had for free. They also helped me with a few other adjustments none of which showed up on my bill.

Walked in 15 minutes before they closed looking to buy a bike, young hipster sitting at counter playing on his phone took a while to get to us, only to remind us that they're closing. I was ready to buy the bike regardless as I needed one to cruise the beltline and my other bike was unavailable. I asked the salesman if he'd adjust another bike I had them work on a few months back for free if I spent the $500 on a bike that's $375 online. He said NO, quickly and without hesitation. I reminded him that I had 3 bikes repaired at his shop in the last 6 months and one was not done right

Yesterday my husband and I went to Intown Bicycles to purchase two bikes to cruise around the beltline. We sort of knew what we wanted but were not completely sure. We were introduced by the owner to a delightful employee named Craig, who took his time to explain the bikes, offer us as many free test rides as we wished, and was kind enough to accommodate me with a smile on his face, when I changed my bike choice at the last moment (saw a pink one I couldn't resist!). Customer service was fantastic. We felt like we were the only ones in the store, although the store was packed with others

I recently needed a tuneup on my bike and had planned to drop it off before a weekend trip out of town
This is my second visit to the store. there's a woman here that repairs the bikes with long hair she's awesome and very helpful. she looked at everything and said she could fix it in 20 minutes! I also bought a new folding mirror and asked if they could install it
Although I couldn't stay I came back later that day to pick up my bike.
The other technician Daniel, rolled up my bike and it was already to go I had a few questions about removing the front wheel and properly putting

I LOVE THIS PLACE.
This morning I bit it on my way to work and fell off my bike. After an initial terror that my bike's brakes were stuck (the wheel just got turned around and I was still like ...omg that happened to realize it at first), I went through my day and then rode over here from MARTA.
I said I fell off my bike and wanted to make sure I didn't ruin anything, and two guys there both are like BUT ARE YOU OK?? which was so sweet. The one took my bike back and gave it a run through of the gears, checked the brakes, etc, and everything was fine. He filled the tires up with air

My parents shipped my fiance and I their old (but awesome and top notch) bikes from California. We put them together after they arrived with help from my dad over the phone, but didn't quite trust they were assembled correctly. And my front brake wasn't working so in fact we were positive they weren't assembled correctly.
We brought them to Intown to have them checked out and they were wonderful! We called ahead and they said it would be $85 each for a tune up, and they'd have them ready in a week. However, upon arriving they inspected the bikes and said they just needed minor

I'm so glad I came here. I was in the market for a fixie for riding around town and Mike at Intown was just the guy I wanted to chat with. I walked in and immediately felt like "Hey. This is a guy and I could just chat with about anything." Felt right at home, even though I'm a novice biker at best.
