I purchased a Viking machine from Charlotte Sewing and Bill was very helpful. He knew exactly what I needed for the type work I was going to do.
He took the time to let me sit at the machine and go over everything about it. He and his son Ben are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I like the fact that you can call them or go back for help. Also they service what they sell. This type establishment is hard to find nowadays.
They also offer sewing classes which I hope to make use of in the future.

I wish I could give 5 stars because I love my machine and ultimately they made things right with me. It just took 4 trips across town and some very questionable interactions to get there.
First, the young man who works there is completely useless in the customer service capacity. Maybe he is good with repairs so they should set him up in the back, never to deal with customers.
Second, on Wednesdays, nice and knowledgeable Regina works alone apparently. So her friend accompanies her for friendship and safety which is great. But the friend talked nonstop and pressured me without letting up and

Exceptional sales and service! I have purchased 7 machines from Charlotte Sewing Center for my business. With their extensive knowledge of the sewing industry, they are always able to meet the product needs of my profession. The helpful staff is always willing to answer any questions I have regarding my machines, be it technical or creative. The educators, Susan & Regina, are incredibly talented and masters of their craft. Bill & Ben are fastidious in servicing my "babies" in a timely manner. Several years ago I traded in a Pfaff Sensation for a Creative Icon. Bill was very helpful and went out of his way to help me get a machine that I could use daily and keep learning new techniques. I have found I can call Charlotte Sewing Center and get help with all my sewing needs. Service on my machine is thorough and done in a timely manner. All employee's are friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the classes Susan taught on my machine and how she's always willing to help. I am grateful for their knowledge on machines and willingness to teach. I couldn't sing enough praises for the dedication

Cannot say enough good things about this shop. I have purchased three machines here. Hassle free purchases, outstanding service, always in and out quick which I know is not the case for many sewing machine shops. Bill has years of experience and takes great care of my investments. Susan is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job keeping me educated about my products. Not only do you received great service you have a lifetime of of one on one lessons with your sewing machine, can't beat that! Another great thing the shop does well is very timely communication when there are updates and upgrades

If you want straight up information on sewing machines without a lot of hype, this is the place to go. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have bought three sewing machines from here and have been most pleased with my sewing experiences and with the support offered with training and the rare repair...usually due to operator error. My bad. Anyway, I love the classes offered and this is the place to go for sewing machine, classes and accessories.

Recently visited the store after googling places that repaired sewing machines. This location was a little out of the way being that I’m from the Cabarrus County area but I was so annoyed with the issues I had been having with my Singer, I made the drive anyway. The gentleman that helped me was thorough but fast & he was able to provide me with a free assessment. He let me know that the cost of repair for this machine wasn’t worth it & showed me a few Baby Lock & Viking models on display.

First of all let me say that I rarely leave reviews. However, this just didn't sit well with me. This rating is for the customer service I received at Charlotte Sewing Center. I have not taken possession of my machine to know how well they fixed it. I really should have taken it with me when it wasn't ready when I was told it was going to be ready.
I took my machine in on Saturday to be fixed. (a tension issue) When I got there, at 10:00am, the store was not open. The owner arrived about 5 minutes later. Understandable. Life happens! However, a greeting and an apology would have not only been

This place is the GREATEST!!! Regina helped my wife with a machine we did not purchase there. She is extremely knowledgeable and show my wife what her problem was. There was no one else in the Charlotte area that was willing to help her with the machine. My wife is working on making fleece blankets for the homeless and needed the machine to continue her project.
