The truth about mold/ black mold: There are currently 200,000 different types of molds that we know of. 80% of them are dark brown or black in color. The type of mold can not be determined by a visual inspection. The truth about mold/ black mold: The toxin it produces does a good job at killing off bacteria.
Something happens (like getting a splinter) to break the skin and insert the mold directly into the body. Most symptoms from Toxic Black Mold are experienced as acute manifestations and are characterized by a variety of neurological signs, such as tremors, lack of coordination, and impaired or loss of vision.
The bottle says it can be used to kill mold/ black mold on "hard non-porous surfaces/ materials only." Hard non-porous surfaces are metal, glass, plastics, etc. The label on the bottle also states to dilute the bleach with water. If mold growth is visible during the Mold Inspection; then a tape/ swab sample will be collected for identification during the Mold Testing and read by an independent laboratory. Mold Remediation (mold removal) is required for visible mold growth. A visual mold inspection looks for signs of water damage, visual mold growth, and other things that may contribute to an indoor air quality problem.

I had three different mold guys to the house in 2016. None could find the source of our mold problem, including Dirty. Of the three, I would place Dirty in the middle- one was better, much more thorough than Dirty. The other wasn't as quite as thorough/good as Dirty. Dirty pushed a major remediation that would have cost many $thousands. But with no real source of mold found and no desire to spend a large sum, I declined. By the latter part of the year, the mold problem pretty much went away without spending any money although I did an extremely major dust removal in the entire house.
