Doctors of Hearing started in Glendale, CA in 2011. The original practice was started by a doctor who suffered from hearing loss and Audiologist, Dr. Camacho. Dr. Camacho was inspired to build an entirely new company based on her experience within this industry. The focus of the company is to provide outstanding service, excellent products, and competitive pricing.
Otoscopy inspection: We check our patient's ear canals to make sure the ear is clear of wax or to rule out other visible problems. The hearing evaluation cannot be completed if you have impacted wax in your ears. Real ear measurement is an objective method we use to verify the programming fit of the hearing aids.
We are fortunate to have compassionate, sympathetic, attentive, skilled, and knowledgeable staff. Most of our patient care coordinators, audiology aids, administrators, and office manager, have experience in Audiology and the hearing aid dispensing industry, and others have at least a BA in Communicative Disorders along with experience in this field.

Felt great from beginning till the end of the visit. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Dr Reynita was very thorough. Best hearing test I have ever had. I am glad I found this place. Wish I had found it sooner. They even explained how the hearing aid should be cleaned! I recommend this place and Dr. Reynita VERY HIGHLY! Wish more doctors were this caring and professional!

Update: I have been doing my audiology exams for years with Dr. Norma and the experience continuously improves over time. You can get free coffee and watch a movie on their big screen tv while you wait. She is also working towards building an online chat app to bring the HoH community together and make it easier to set up appointments through chat instead of needing to make a phone call.

Amazing staff.Very qualified, professional and welcoming. Everyone made me feel at home, and
even offered water, tea, or coffee!
After the hearing test has been done, Dr. Comacho then proceeds to find out the brand and style ot
aid which she thinks will be a good fit for you. The set up takes some time. It is the first fitting,
and Dr.Camacho goes into great detail to help you understand how the whole process works.
Carlos, her assistant, not only makes you feel very comfortable, but also helped me set up an
App.on my cell phone, connected to Bluetooth, in order to receive telephone calls
even offered water, tea, or coffee!

If I could I would give this office MORE THAN FIVE STARS!!!
Dr. Kristi Mendoza and Donna are both a joy to work with. I was looking for a local place to take my husband to get his hearing checked. I was noticing that his hearing wasn't as good as it was before. When I first called Donna answered and was very helpful and they happen to be offering a special promotion for a free hearing test. I took my husband and Dr. Mendoza did a thorough exam. He was set up on Bluetooth hearing aids. What huge difference it has made. Dr. Mendoza is very knowledgeable and did everything just right.

Kristi is amazing!!! She explained everything in terms I could understand and was so thorough. I came in looking for help with a spike in my tinnitus and after a hearing test, discovered I definitely am hearing impaired in one ear. Dr. Mendoza explained what my next steps should be and showed me what a difference a hearing aid/masker could make. She fully explained the different options today's aids provide, without pressuring me at all. I definitely plan on returning after my upcoming visit to an ENT and I will highly recommend Ascent to everyone

Dr. Camacho is absolutely passionate about audiology; she knows her stuff and provides her clients with the best information. She keeps up with the latest research. As an audiologist assistant intern, I was fortunate to have witnessed many of her generous acts.
