Services
For almost 50 years, Allegany Mountain Resort has been providing campers from all over the U.S. and Canada with an unmatched camping experience. We're dedicated to providing our membership base of guests with a safe and family-friendly camping environment that's fun, relaxing and invigorating all at the same time.
At Allegany Mountain Resort, we have accommodations for every type of camper. Whether you prefer roughing it in a tent, a cozy cabin, or bringing your RV, we have plenty of spacious campsites for you and your family to call your home away from home. We also offer options that allow guests to choose a different campsite every time they visit, to staying on the same site for a season to completely owning a campsite for years to come.
Our campsites for "roamers" mean that guests can make a reservation prior to each time they visit us and are assigned a site upon arrival. This option is great for campers that would like to experience various spots and scenery throughout the campground rather than committing to one spot for the entire season or purchasing a campsite.
Don't own a camper or RV? No problem. Our newly built cabins are available to rent and are offered at special member rates! These lakeview cabins offer stunning views across Rainbow Lake and a deck for you to relax and enjoy it. These cabins are available in one, two or three bedroom units, sleeping 2-6 campers.
With 743 RV sites available on our campground, you'll be able to camp any way you prefer - are you looking for a lakeview or to be up on a hill? Do you want to be surrounded by other campers that will quickly become your friends or would you like more private grounds? No matter what your preferences are, we will find a site that will make your camping experience nothing less than perfect.

We visited the campground heard all the membership details first sales woman to show us around was sincere and easy to talk to. Very nice she should finish the close of the sale.
It’s a time share thousands dollars membership drop price at end. Perfect pressure sale The final salesman comes in. Ruined her tour by his arrogance.
The final salesman should find a new career path.
Asked for 24 hours to discuss with wife. Told me no mail fraud. Whatever. No thanks for driving out taking tour, tour unlike the girl who thanked us at the end.
Just an unlike able person and if you read the 1/5 comments

Rainbow Lake is awesome! Our wood was fresh so it was taking a lot of effort to get it going, and since you can't bring your own in, it was weekend-long battle. Second time going as a guest, and It is very pleasant, the members we've talked to all say how well worth it is for them. The putt putt course could be a little better maintained, but I'm just being nit-picky. :)

This 743 site resort packs quite a punch when it comes to amenities they offer. Once at the resort, all their activities are FREE to guests, which include canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, shuffleboard, basketball, putt putt, volleyball, 3 swimming pools (1 indoor), fishing ponds, and more! They have 2 laundry/shower houses that are very well kept, a nice store, a restaurant grill and regularly scheduled activities.
The resort is home to several permanent residents, and the area is very well kept and have beautiful views. The RV sites themselves are pretty small compared to the average state park

I will start by saying that I use to come here as a child with my grandparents when it was just Rainbow Lake. I remember that it was loads of fun then. So now I just happened to be part of the camping club that has the opportunity to go back to childhood memories. The place is very nice and most of the people seem to be very friendly. The amenities they have are pretty sweet. For example the have mini gulf, outdoor pools, indoor pool (adult swim hours), exercise area, library, kayaks, paddle boats and the list goes on. It's all tied into your membership for no additional fees. So here comes one

Great place for families! They have 2 outdoor pools, and indoor pool, tennis courts, basketball court, shuffleboard, field, bean bag toss, kayaks, paddle boats, mini golf and even an art cabin. It is a members only resort so you have to know someone to stay there.

I've been coming to this place since I was a baby back in the 80's- every single year! My father is a Member, and I recently became an associate. It's one of my favorite places in the world! Great facilities, friendly community of people, always fun things to do, so many activities, great camp sites- just overall great place to camp!
