This campground is in Conewango area of Randolph NY. It's out in the country.
The campground has speedbumps every 50 feet, which is kind of ridiculous, your pulling a camper and you cannot go fast on the bumpy dirt roads!
They have a camp store, a pool and basketball court for the kids. The lots are grassy and they do have full hook-ups.

Had a great time! Seasonal guests were friendly. Had a good size site. Went fishing and caught some (put them back, of course). Got a golf cart to travel through the campground. Mosquitoes were crazy but that's just the woods lol. Very serene. The showers need some work, but the water was hot. We will definitely be going back next year!

Fantastic place to spend a family weekend...rented one of the cabins...clean, comfortable & relaxing. The owners go above & beyond to ensure an enjoyable & safe place for everyone. Lots of great items in their store, food items on food truck are delicious & the pool is an added bonus. Love it all. Thanks for everything...we definitely will return.❤️❤️❤️

Quiet campground, not too far off Interstate 86. Our full hookup site on the hill was somewhat level, on grass with a small amount of gravel. Wi-Fi service, at $5 per day, was the best we've experienced! We enjoyed the heated pool. The campground roads are the worst we've experienced, loaded with potholes and too many punishing speed bumps. Campground would benefit from lots of gravel for the roads and to level the sites.

My parents have camped here for many years under various owners. I joined them this year along with my two daughters. It was a clean area and very peaceful. Sites are of good size.
Handicap accessible restroom was very large and smelled pleasant;). There is not a hand held shower head. This is problematic which resulted in her requiring someone be with her to help. Also there was only cold water. The paper towel dispenser was empty and the trash hadn’t been changed.
Otherwise a nice friendly place.

We decided to reserve early and stayed here at Independence Day weekend. So we knew what we’re waitin for...
Really fully booked, but nevertheless we had a great time. The owners did a great job on these busy days to let us as a German couple know what different kinds of amenities are available in the USA on this holiday.
The landscape of this campground is one of the most natural we have experienced in the USA and therefore we are more generous with our rating than with other, more comfortable campgrounds.
All in all, Pope Haven receives four good stars and half a star plus for the absolutely

We stayed here over the three day Memorial Day holiday. We'd been traveling for about a month and made our reservations a week ahead. The campground was so crowded. It appeared that they let anyone stay in any spot despite the size of their camper. The sites were very rustic and far from level. The water pressure was so low that we could barely wash our hands-forget about taking a shower. There were many families there with children who seemed to have a great time. We would not recommend this campground. It needs a lot of work. Can't understand how Good Sam gave it such high marks. That will make

Spent 5 days here and I would have to say one of if not the worst place I have camped. Me and my newlywed wife stayed here for our honeymoon. The first 2 days went fine checked in with no problem and got a gulf cart. Then we realized that there is nothing to do here. There is a small pool that goes to 5 feet deep and a small playground. The game room that is here was never opened. Also we found out that the showers don't work but the timer that takes your money does. The one shower had no pressure and the other one only works on cold. The store/ check in or out place was closed 2 days that we where

This campground is on a beautiful plot of land with nice wooded sites. Although we did some research ahead of time and read some reviews, our overall experience was disappointing. Some people cautioned us ahead of time about campground owners who had a reputation for being negative and grumpy towards guests. However, we were not overly concerned since we thought it’d be simple to stay out of their way and enjoy a peaceful stay with our family and another family with whom we went camping this Memorial Day weekend. Sadly, we were wrong. The man who owns the campground seemed to be an unhappy and

A smaller cozier campground. The owner is very nice and very accommodating. We've been there maybe 4 times and ways had a good time. Not a ton of amenities on-site or nearby. It's pretty rural which is ok. The Amish come on Saturday mornings with baked goods. The pool is nice and clean which is where my daughter would spend all her time. We will go back again for sure.
