I go here all the time with the boy friend and the Chicken Tikka Masala is to die for. Get it spicy #7 or up and plane naan on the side. And they are super friendly

The food is really good but the service could use some improvements. I've been a server and know that is demanding esp with the issues currently but I never got a refill and they never checked to see if I was enjoying my food or anything and they weren't very busy.

THE BEST FOOD
I have eaten from here probably 25 times at this point, including a variety of dishes, and I can safely say that this place serves incredibly delicious Himalayan food with no qualifications.
On top of the awesome food, they are fast, kind, and affordable. I often find that a $14 dish will last 2 full meals, which is just ridiculous value!
This place is a must-have in the weekly rotation of takeout places in Encinitas.

The food there was really good! I love their chicken curry!! Really good service. The people that work there are very kind. You should all try it out. Also they had really lovely paintings designs.

Unexpectedly the best meal I’ve had out all year. Amazing service, both dishes we (#17 & #21) had were so full of flavor. Amazing naan. Will certainly be coming back.

I had the BEST meal of the year!!!! Staff was so nice, prices very reasonable, and food was served fast. And have I talked about the food??!!! So so good!!! Highly, highly recommend!!

I am so happy this is my local Indian restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about it. The tikka masala is delish and the paneer dishes don’t disappoint. They have all kinds of menu options. I never get to try them all because I love my favorites so much. I would go everyday if my waistline would allow for it. Thank you Himalayan Kitchen for doing such a good job!
