As a member of the rehabilitation health care team, we work closely with the referring physician, therapist and case manager. On-site fabrication enables us to ensure an exceptionally well-fitting device in a timely manner. Privileges at neighboring hospitals and rehab centers enhance continuity of care.

J&K Orthopedics-Pomoma: I have done business with this vendor for many years and never experienced the dishonesty of this vendor. A brace was made for my husband, a hemiplegic, unable to walk without a brace (KAFO). Last August 2020, the brace broke needing repair. We took the steps i.e., doctor notes/report, prescription... necessary to seek Medicare approval. J&K went ahead completed the repair without Medicare approval, ok to this point. Unfortunately, Medicare denied the claim needing more information from doctor. While waiting for the appeal process to be completed, the brace metal

J&K made a leg brace for my father who has partial paralysis on one side of his body and the brace needed repair soon after on 2 different occasions.
On the second occasion, it took 3 months for a repair to be completed. My father was forced to remain in a bed until he got his brace.
When the brace was repaired they held the brace hostage until we paid the full amount of the repair instead of waiting for Medicare to respond on an appeal. We paid $350 so my father could have his brace. Medicare finally covered the cost and the supplemental picked up the difference. J&K was paid
