Cake Done Right has been blowing the minds of party-goers everywhere with innovative cake designs since 2009. We specialize in the quirky, the bold, the dramatic, and unexpected sculpted and tiered cake designs which leave an impression seared into the brains of your guests unlike anything else they will ever remember, with kick-ass flavors to match.
An initial consultation is required for all new clients. Included with your $50 consultation fee is a 45-minute, virtual meeting for you and one guest, to talk about flavors, design, and other general awesomeness. You may sample up to 3 of the flavors listed on our Menu page. We will reach out to you directly, to arrange pickup of your samples in advance of your selected appointment time.

I'm so glad we found Allison to do our wedding cake! I was putting together a last minute reception since initially I only wanted a small ceremony with my immediate family. I was 2 months away from the wedding date so I knew most vendors would be booked out. Thankfully Allison squeezed me in even though she had a super busy summer. Allison did three huge, amazing, flavorful and highly creative wedding cakes for our National Parks wedding in Yosemite in 2011. Since then, we have gotten cake sale slices whenever we can get to her in Redwood City and watched her creativity and expertise explode! For all of our future special life events, we will go to Allison, knowing not only will we have scrumptious cake, but a piece of art that exceeds all expectations from a professional and warm baker who loves to make others happy.

Allison made our wedding cake and not only did it look beautiful but the guests raved about it for days afterward. The only complaint I have is that one of the main flowers came off right before the reception started but I don't blame Allison, things like this happen. She also made us a cake tier of Almond Roca since it was a flavor I wanted but didn't choose due to two of our kids having nut allergies for our first anniversary. She took our order only a month prior to our wedding (which is rare) and then referred me to the florist who did an amazing job on my flowers. I highly recommend

I've used her twice with specific creative requests and the results were yummy and beautiful. I commissioned the bear cake that is pictured above for a friend's baby shower and it blew. my. mind. Allison makes things out of cake that you just can't believe are made of cake. Her prices are VERY reasonable for the amount of work she puts into each creation. Her cakes are super tasty, too. I don't need fancy cakes often, but when I do, they'll be made by Allison!

Allison at Cake Done Right is truly an artist. She has done multiple cakes for me over the years including my beautiful fairy tale wedding cake and a gorgeous birthday cake for my mom that looked like a present with strawberries flowing out of it! Not only is she an artist in creating the cakes, but her wide array of customized flavors is amazing.
As someone who has worked in the event industry for a long time, I've had a lot of wedding cake and none can compare to Cake Done Right.

I came across Allison via Facebook and her cakes looked incredibly sculpted! I couldn't believe they were cake! I'm getting married April 2017 and still needed a cake (it was July) My fiance and I had a tasting of 5 flavors: double strawberry, valrhona chocolate, un-red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, and sweet potato. I'm pretty sure I went to heaven! I gave her a theme and let her take control of the design. I can't wait to be surprised! She even boxed up extra slices for our son at home. Allison is not only a cake rockstar, she's hilarious and her customer service
