We're located in the vibrant and beautiful city of Denton, TX at 219 Fort Worth Drive. We love Denton and we couldn't be happier to be part of the community and growing cycling culture! We offer a full range of bicycles and bicycle accessories, and even indoor trainers, stationary exercise bikes. We offer top notch service from a staff with extensive and varied experience in the bicycle industry.
Velo Republic offers convenient location and hours in the footprint of historic downtown Denton, TX, and nestled in a location close to UNT and TWU. We're open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am until 6:00pm. We're right in the heart of Denton less than a mile south of the historic Courthouse on The Square.

What a find! I'm new to Texas and didn't have a clue where to get my bike fixed. One of my favorite things to do is ride the trails in my community. Just like that, the pedals stuck. What to do? I gave Velo Republic a call. Logan really surprised me! It's very hard to fit my bike into the trunk of my Acura TSX. He picked it up and repaired it .. even put new batteries into my spikes so I can light up the neighborhood! And the cost? Very very very affordable. Thank you, Logan! Sure brightened up my Christmas.

I don't wear spandex (in public that is :-)) or clip into pedals, I'm just a regular dude who's been a casual cruiser since I was knee high. I dropped off a couple/few bmx bikes at Velo and received good ole fashioned excellent service at super reasonable prices. My requests were specific and there were many items I wanted addressed. Roadblock shmoadblock, anytime an issue would arise with parts I supplied, a work around was found so that they could be installed. They even delivered the bikes upon completion for a nominal fee which was greatly appreciated. Now I'm the biggest baller on the block

I had my husband’s old Scwhinn bike restored at Velo Republic and I could not have asked for a better experience. I drove from Dallas to Denton because Velo Republic had such amazing reviews and they did not disappoint! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted when I brought the bike in and they helped walk me through the options and the costs associated with each option. It was a longer process due to distributors not having certain bike parts in stock, but they gave me the part details and I was able to find some I liked through eBay and Facebook marketplace. I actually had fun working with them

I brought my two older bikes in to double check the tune up I did myself. The first guy that helped me was super nice and checked out my bikes and said they were tuned well. One of my tires had a flat so I purchased a new tube. I asked the guy if he thought I needed to replace the tires and he said he would keep riding on them if it was his bike, so I took his word. In the middle of my next ride my tire popped and I had to walk my bike back the whole way home. I brought my bike back in and another individual helped me but seemed annoyed that he was doing so. I asked if he could replace my tube

I was an absolute nobody last week when I went into this bike shop. I was in Denton for another reason and tried a few shops in Denton. Right away you could smell and feel the fact that this was a bike shop done funky right cool. The young dude asked me if I needed help and I said yup looking for used bikes. He immediately took me into the back room where an American Pickers-style array of bikes were located. He answered every question and was super cool and patient, like I was the only thing happening in his day. Not arrogant or condescending. The owner must be this way and he must hire folks

Ok this is my second attempt to write a review for this terrific bike store and owner.So if it shows up- read it and believe it. Met Gabe the owner on a bike ride. I was riding and Gabe was sag trucking looking for injured bikes along the route. I was " bike roadkill". Problem with the brakes which he spotted immediately. I was bonked out so my ride was over. Riding with Gabe on this journey, he donated his time, tools and repairs enabling every cyclist to return to the road where we belong. Also, remember there are many bike shops big and small but Gabe's shop is that shop out

Velo Republic is a fantastic bike shop in the Denton area!! I've followed these guys from their previous shop and I am happy to say they do not disappoint. From road to mountain to gravel, they can handle all my cycling needs, bikes, and gear. They are full of great information and recommendations for accessories and are very responsive when it comes to ordering something they don't have in stock. All the guys are a pleasure to work with and I know I am well taken care of! One visit to Velo and you will see why everyone loves this place!

Stopped in today to check out the shop; boy are we glad we did! Super nice folks running the place; very helpful but not pushy. My husband got an incredible deal on a Cannondale suspension bike. Good selection of new, higher end (though still affordable) bikes. This will definitely be our go-to shop now that we know we don't have to go to Frisco or Flower Mound to get good bike maintenance!
