Growing pressure on students to perform and intense competition to get into college have generated a corresponding increase in requests from parents for evaluations, most often as a means toward qualifying for accommodations and modifications on standards and entrance tests (e.g., modifications such as untimed tests or individualized administration) as well as gathering information to understand an individual's capacity and/or potential for career planning.
San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center is looking for highly motivated therapists who are licensed in the state of Texas in one of the following mental health fields: LPC, LMFT, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist. Candidates should be self-driven, dependable, ethical and conscientious. Just disappointing from beginning to end. I gave his place a second chance because I was unable to get an appointment anywhere else. They incorrectly verified by benefits. So I had to pay out of pocket. The therapist was good but was unable to see me again for 2 weeks. I told the front office I wanted weekly sessions.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The Counselor was rude and unprofessional. He was aalso very insincere and incompetent. The portal system with this office sucks and I had alot of technical difficulties trying to complete my final paperwork. Don't waste your time with this horrible place find a real professional counselors office.

I would not recommend this place! It took months to get an appointment with a specific person. Months!! Then when it came to the appointment, the person who we made the appointment with wasn’t even prepared. What’s the point of filling out the online paperwork if they’re not even going to read it before the first session. There was no effort in helping in any way. This place and this person was a huge disappointment! Very sad and unfortunate since there aren’t many places or people to go to.

As a concerned parent, I called this office yesterday and made an appointment for my child. They were going to see her today at 1 PM. I logged onto the portal to complete the necessary documents this morning only to find out through the portal that my child's appointment had been canceled. I did not receive a phone call, email, or text message to inform me of the cancellation of my child's appointment. My wife has been seeing Anthony Washington on and off for about five years. She says nothing but good things about him and he has definitely helped her with her mental health conditions. He even made time for her in his schedule when she was ready to discontinue counseling for a while, and then when she wanted to resume, and the office staff said his schedule was full, he found a time to meet with her weekly. My wife feels completely comfortable with him and he includes her in the treatment plan and counseling process. Whatever is happening in her life, she always feels better after her counseling

We sought T. Tribett as Therapist help for an teenager She encouraged my child to take drugs I had opposed. Our family doctor had given me the option of giving my teenager the medicine not T. Tribett. She had contact with my child after hours unbeknownst to me. T Tribett contacted me by phone after a session and recommended I take my child to get evaluated at an in-treatment clinic or else she would call Texas Child Protective Services and I did. My daughter just started see Lindsey Best in the Stone Oak office. Not only am I pleased, my little girl really connected with her immediately. She is very warm and understanding. Great counselors and administrative staff. I really felt comfortable and welcomed. They helped me to address a lot of underlining issues I had. If you have any questions or don't understand something just ask and they will be glad to sit with you and explain. Overall, this is the best treatment center I've attended.

If you need help this is NOT the place to seek it. If you are late or cancel the day of your appt. they require $60 fee. I showed up right on time and was told that I would have to wait 25min or more because the person I was supposed to see got lost. Or I could reschedule and take another afternoon off from work, not to mention I already drove 30min to get to this site. If I can find it, I would think a "qualified" profession would be able to get here on time as well.

It's not discreet and lacks quality of services. It feels more like a clinic. You can hear conversations between walls. It's loud. The waiting area is crowded. It feels like a chain type of agency. The fast food experience. The staff is incompetent too. Gave wrong locations twice. I don't recommend if you are looking for experienced and or quiet environment. There are so many convenient, "private" practice locations worth your time and money. Skipppp this!

I tried to give this place a chance. They don't return phone calls and they don't give a proper heads up when they want to reschedule your appointment. I got a call about 15 minutes before they closed their office the day before my appointment. I don't know if there's a disconnect between the receptionists and the providers, but they need to change the way they do things. Communication is HORRID. Hopefully not many people have the same experience I did.

This group is incapable of processing disability claims. I have a family member who will be returning to work because of financial hardship caused my a denial of a claim that was not completed or processed correctly. Poor case notes and basic documentation can't be provided. Therapists that are not supervised and provide less than stellar care. Aimee Castro, office manager laughs at people who need help. Martha Livingston, Director, -- too busy making commercials and no interest in quality control. Will look into filing a formal complaint against this group who is mismanaged, no follow-up

I didn't not appreciate their scheduling. My children did not get to see any therapist due to their lack of scheduling the right way. I had scheduled an appointment a month in advance because that was the closest they had available for my kids to be seen asap. We were referred to them and the person who called to schedule quoted times 9, 10, and 11 but when I called right back I was told that those times were not available and the girl had scheduled for the open slots at 8, 9, and 10 with the same provider. This establishment is very professional. They are accommodating. We called and spoke with a very helpful professional secretary who was able to squeeze my daughter in with Dr. Olive on a Saturday.
Dr. Olive is a very nice man. He knows what he is doing. We all felt very comfortable with him. He is a straight shooter which we appreciate. I wish I could give this place more stars. I recommend this establishment for anyone in need of a therapist. We took our small daughter and had great results.
