Charlotte is the founder of the studio. Her broad range of experience, her relaxed manner with her clients and her years of training create exquisite and timeless photographs. She has worked for over 30 years as a self employed fine artist. In 2000 she focused all her efforts on portrait and commercial photography although she still shows her fine art work at various shows in Texas.
Portrait Photography by Charlotte is all about capturing the essence of the subject whether it's for a corporate headshot, a family, a child, a senior, model, actor or musician. I strive to put people at ease so the images are sincere. People say: "Yes that looks like me!". Sessions are done quickly to fit into busy schedules.

Working with Charlotte was a great experience. We used her for our last few events. Being a non-profit with several events happening, we needed someone who could produce high quality photos without too much oversight. She made all our interactions easy and quick while making me feel confident that all would go as planned. We waited for this moment for a long time. Our daughter was getting married. I needed portrait photos. I could not have made a better choice for the occasion. From the moment I arrived, Charlotte was amazing. She was a fantastic host and quickly had me relaxed and ready to shoot. She made sure of what I wanted and subtly guided me to the best look every time. I took my daughter to Charlotte Bell Photography and Charlotte and my daughter connected right away. And i tell you what.. my daughter is extremely shy when it comes to meeting new people. Charlotte really has a way with kids and making them feel comfortable. During her photo shoot both Charlotte and my daughter were having a blast! she was able to get great photos of her and also got a personality to come out in her photos which was important since they are my daughters head shots for modeling/acting.

Charlotte is beyond words! she captured every moment in my wedding as timeless pictures. my husband is not comfortable being in pictures and very awkward but she photographed moments of us that were unforgettable. great to work with and so were her assistants. she is truly talented and i've had the pleasure to see her work beyond wedding photographs and i will say they are truly impressive! HUGE kudos to Charlotte!!!

Folk will tell you that photography is all about light. Whilst that's true, it's also true that working with people is something else entirely. Being able to photograph subjects who are just ordinary people requires exceptional skill if you're going to get a really good photograph. It requires a warmth, empathy, and the kind of connection that brings out the best qualities in someone who may well be self conscious or shy. Charlotte can do this in an almost magical way.
