I'm Caitlin, a published film & digital photographer based out of Austin, Texas. I'm a registered nurse turned wedding photographer that grew up with a camera by my side and a passion for caring for those around me. My work is inspired by nature, color, and joy. I strive to create a relaxed and fun experience for my clients.
I love to help them feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera while capturing images that truly reflect their love and personalities. My style is a mixture of documentary and fine art photography, using both film and digital to create a timeless collection of genuine moments. On my days off, you'll find me outdoors around Town Lake with my husband Ryan and my sweet pup Riley.

Nicole & Michael I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I researched/talked to exactly 20 photographers in the San Antonio/Austin area, and Caitlin was one that had been recommended to us by several friends. My husband and I were paying for our wedding, so we were really price conscious, but knew that we wanted lasting photos.
All wedding collections include at least 8 hours of photography, a second photographer, a wedding photography planning guide, a personal online gallery of film & digital high resolution images, sneak peek images, and full printing rights. The average Caitlin Rose client spends $4.5-6k on wedding photography.
Yes I love to travel! I'm based out of Austin, but I also shoot destination and out of state weddings in addition to Texas weddings. After sending emails to each other, I meet with couples usually at a coffee shop to get to know each other and to meet face to face. Can't meet in person? I can also do Skype, phone calls, or emails to get to know you and to get more information about your wedding day.

Hiring Caitlin was hands down one of the best decisions of my wedding. Her talent is absolutely amazing! I have not been disappointed with any photo she has sent me. From engagements, to bridals, to the wedding itself, she has delivered such incredible content. I can’t even count the number of compliments I have had on them! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she also is one of the nicest people I have worked with. She was so supportive, kind, and made me so comfortable in every photoshoot. Her work speaks for itself, but having her positivity throughout the wedding was worth it too

Caitlin is the best choice you could make for a photographer! She has photographed my work as an artist and wedding stationer and it was no question that I wanted to her to photograph my own wedding as well. Caitlin made my fiancé and I’s first ever photo shoot a wonderful experience. She made us comfortable and felt so easy to talk to and just a calming presence we were anxious and not used to a camera. I highly recommend her for photography. The pictures came out beautiful and we have receive so many compliments. I cannot even pick a favorite. Her response time is quick and she is very helpful (we almost had to find a different photographer because our availability didn’t align at first. Fortunately there was a last minute change and she fit us right in!)

Caitlin is so, so talented. I've known Caitlin since nursing school and had always admired her photos, I literally didn't even look at other photographers. She is very accommodating and helps out however she can to make your wedding planning process easier! Her calm and reassuring demeanor makes the planning and day of the wedding go super smoothly. From the sneak peeks to the official gallery of both my engagement and wedding, I was so happy and couldn't stop saying "wow!" I can't even pick my favorites because there are just so many great photos, Caitlin has an elegance to her style and details

Caitlin is the best mentor! I contacted Caitlin and finally asked for help after struggling with my editing for far too long. I got to the point where I dreaded editing because I didn't love the way my photos were turning out. There was a specific look I wanted but I just didn't know how to get there. I have always invested in my education through online classes but 1-on-1 mentoring is SO worth it. With Caitlin's help, I feel like I am closer than ever to creating photos that I love and most importantly, photos that my clients love! As a wedding DJ I have an opportunity to work with dozens of extremely talented photographers. Caitlin is among the best in the Austin area. She is incredibly easy to work, captures moments perfectly rather during day light, on a dark dance floor or at night.

Caitlin is such a great photographer and on top of that, a very sweet person! She is so communicative, creative, and genuinely wants her customers to be completely happy and satisfied with not only their photos, but their experience working with her. She took my boudoir photos (a wedding gift for my husband) and she made me feel really comfortable (which is so important as having photos taken of yourself can often times feel awkward, esp boudoir photos - but not with Caitlin!). Caitlin is very professional and her photos turn out beautifully! I highly recommend Caitlin Rose Photography!

We hired Caitlin to take photos for our engagement, our wedding, and reception the day after the wedding. She did an AMAZING job! We were so happy with the way every photo turned out. We were dodging several storms on both the days of the engagement photos (Oct 2015) and the wedding (April 2016) and Caitlin did a great job at using the overcast weather on both days to work to our advantage.
