Dr. Leila Ettefagh and Dr. Navid Nami are board-certified dermatologists with a special interest in skin cancer, medical and cosmetic dermatology. Natives of Orange County, they founded Island Dermatology in the heart of Newport Beach shortly after getting married. They have created a warm family environment to better serve the diverse skin care needs of the community.
Navid Nami, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and the co-founder of Island Dermatology. He founded Island Dermatology with his wife, Leila Ettefagh, MD, and they have now expanded to various locations across Southern California in Newport Beach, Glendora, Downey, Santa Ana, and Victorville. Dr. Nami has special interests in allergic contact dermatitis, sclerotherapy (spider vein treatment), and skin cancer.

Stabbed, sliced, and burned to the point of being able to smell my own flesh cooking... All in all a wonderful experience. 1st time there, and I would recommend them to all. Front desk staff was very nice. The woman who did the stabbing and burning did it with care. What more can a person ask for? 😁

Worst place to compromise with a treatment ever! They just never renew my prescriptions and I go to the pharmacy and pharmacy says they are waiting on authorization from Island dermatologist.
THEY DONT ANSWER PHONES
THEY DONT CALL BACK WHEN YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE
THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHARMACY AS WELL
THEY DONT CARE YOU ARE OFF YOUR ACCUTANE MEDICINE.
My husband started his treatment here and have been a nightmare. They may look ok at first, but if you need any follow ups, you won’t get!
They treat paciente so disrespectfully. The employee Adrienne told my husband she has no time to call the

I had an incredibly frustrating experience here. The Office Staff are incredibly rude and inept at their job, and I was in-turn blamed for their incompetency. I have literally never left a review before, but felt like I should after my experience. I would highly recommend finding an office that hires better Office Staff.
