The University of California, Irvine (UCI) then invited Dr. Nguyen to participate in some medical research as a postgraduate researcher. His work resulted in multiple articles in a variety of medical journals. After completing a residency in internal medicine at the New York University (NYU), he spent two years as a faculty member at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Tamuyen Nguyen is the best dermatology doctor in the I.E. I am very lucky to have come across this wonderful group of professionals. Their staff are always polite courteous, and very respectful. I get seen by Dr. Nguyen within minutes of arriving to my appointment. Dr. Nguyen explains options of treatment and solutions thoroughly. I have visited this office since 2013. Dr. Tan Nguyen has given me beautiful skin! I grew up with awful skin and now have to deal with aging skin. He is a gentle doctor with excellent office staff. They are patient and answer all questions very thoroughly. I highly recommend him for skin lesions, skin cancers, active acne and old acne scars. He is also great at cosmetic dermatology such as Botox, Xeomin, Radiesse as well as lasers such as Fractora and IPL. I now look as young as I feel!

Went in today with no health care insurance thinking I had a pilar cyst in my scalp. I went in filled out the normal paperwork and everybody that worked there was extra friendly, my wife had mentioned it also to me. I arrived early enough to fill our the paperwork and was checked in about 5 minutes before my actual appointment. Dr. Tan Nguyen introduced himself, his english is awesome so many times that is a problem, he is highly knoledgeable and really proved me wrong, I so thought I knew what was wrong with my scalp and he listened to me and took the time to actually educate me on the topic,
