Services
All our surgeons at Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center are board-certified and have specialized training in orthopedic surgery. Our mission is to help people lead active lives, whether it's through a sports injury, replacing a joint or relieving chronic or acute pain from the moment you enter our clinic until you complete your journey back to good health.
If you have an urgent issue after business hours our answering service will contact the physician on call. Completing these forms before your appointment will allow us to treat your condition more efficiently. Your insurance company may require a referral from your PCP to see one of our specialists.
If you are a member of a managed care plan that requires a referral, you are responsible for obtaining this referral from your primary care physician. Please take time prior to your visit to read and understand your insurance policy's limitations and stipulations as we are bound to your policy's provisions.
Please review your insurance company's provider directory to confirm your physician participates with your plan. Our Financial Counselors will contact you prior to your surgery date to discuss your benefits. Our counselors are experienced professionals who will review your insurance coverage and inform you of your financial responsibility.

My name is Shelley Brown. I went to this Center 9/2021 with a very painful, swollen foot. Xrays were taken and I was informed by Dr. Zoys that nothing appeared to be wrong with my foot and I should take anti-inflammatories and ice it. I knew that there was something very wrong with my foot. I sought the opinion of another Doctor and after viewing the Xrays taken at that office I was told that I had stress fractures and a fallen arch. After weeks in a boot and proper medication I am finally better. Ortho & Sports Medicine Center continues to send me a bill monthly for $11.35 that my insurance didn

I brought my grandmother here for an appt and having worked at a doctors office myself this is the rudest unprofessional incompetent staff. Front the front to the back and the Dr. I would never recommend anyone here the whole experience was disgusting. Do not come here there’s better orthopedic offices than this one.

I have a simple blue cross& blue shield hmo plan. As an insurance adjuster I understand the inner workings of insurance procedures and this office indicates that they do not accept MY particular version of bcbs hmo. ?¿?¿ A simple call to the insurance provider to confirm if they could proceed with treatment and provide myself with an invoice, that I could then give to my provider requesting reimbursement for any covered procedures. But no, I am assuming that must have been to hard of a task to accomplish.

This was my first time to visit the OSMCG office and see Dr. Zoys. I was completely satisfied with the experience from the time I checked in through my time with Dr. Zoys. The wait to see the doctor was short. Dr. Zoys was friendly and straight forward in explaining the problem with my knee and options for treatment. Overall, this was a good experience.

Dr. Johnson has a very nice bedside manner. He is willing to answer your questions and explain all answers. He did a total knee replacement on me and as I recover I really feel he cares about my improvement. My leg is no longer crooked! Highly recommend. His office in Garland is also very accessible for people with limited mobility or using crutches or walkers.
