Tuscarora Yacht Club in Wilson Harbor on Niagara County, New York's Shore of Lake Ontario. Tuscarora Yacht Club, Inc. was established in 1968 to serve as a family-oriented home for enthusiastic sail and motor boaters who were seeking to take advantage of Wilson Harbor's wonderful ambiance plus its proximity to the numerous ports within cruising range along Lake Ontario's U.S. and Canadian shores.

Our cooperatively operated club located on Clark Island (formerly Wintergreen Island) and its adjacent shoreline in Sunset Bay. We are 11 miles east of Youngstown and the Lower Niagara River and 29 miles southeast of downtown Toronto.
Services
TYC offers its members numerous opportunities to demonstrate their leadership skills by serving as club directors, officers and committee chairs. The Board of Directors is comprised of eight Full Members elected by the membership who serve two-year terms on a staggered basis.

The directors annually choose among themselves, so that each may serve one-year terms as a club officer - Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Commodore, Secretary, Treasurer, Fleet Captain, Director of Operations, and Director of Harbor Operations.Additionally, Full, Social and Life members may be appointed by the Commodore to head the club's various operational committees for a one-year periods.
The Commodore, Board of Directors, and Members of TYC cordially extend a warm welcome to all visiting boaters from clubs with whom we share reciprocal agreements. Tuscarora Yacht Club's beautiful location, facilities, and friendly membership make it a premier destination for many boaters on Lake Ontario.
TYC is a Yacht Club with 42 years of history and tradition. We have been located in Wilson Harbor since the club's inception in 1968. TYC is committed to and very much feels part of the community of Wilson, NY. We feel TYC helps in a small way define what is "Wilson Harbor". Our club is a family club with a growing number of younger families, many of which are second and third generation "TYC'ers".
Tuscarora Yacht Club is situated on Clark Island and its adjoining shoreline at 5 Shore Drive - a circular extension of Park Street, the 300 yard lane that runs west past the northern border of Greenwood Cemetery off Route NY18 (Harbor Street). You've arrived when you come to the beautiful Clark Island stone marker.

One of the friendliest clubs on Lake Ontario. Inexpensive options for the family oriented boater. Also offers a very reasonable Social membership.

If you are a member of another yacht club, you can stay depending on what the reciprocal arrangement is with your club. We love this club, the facilities, the welcome from members and location. The well stocked kitchen and BBQ areas are unmatched in the lake. There’s always coffee to be had and ice cream bars in the freezer for $1! The washrooms are impeccable. Nearby is the Sunset Grill, and a couple of other local bars in the basin, the town of Wilson, a pool that you can buy a day pass. They added a great new dock finger, so your chances of getting a slip is better.

Nice club, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a one night stay this summer, had several people walk over to see if we would like help docking, and they had bicycles to use to go to town from their club. Nice quiet spot. Restaurants nearby.

We stayed at TYC for 2 nights. It was part of our sail plan. We came with 2 boats; 40 Haunse and 46 Beneteau. The people are very pleasant and helpful. Love the kitchen facilities it was great to have everything at your fingertips; bbq's, microwaves, stoves, indoor and outdoor table and chairs galore. I especially loved the bbq/bar outside with hightop chairs that were quite comfortable. We met new boaters and had app's at the outdoor bar. What a great club, thanks for having us.

Good place to moor for a visit to the US. Weird immigration procedures for Canadians. Very shallow and narrow channel - obey the channel markers.
